Old fashioned bedroom; the units need repositioned for ease of movement but appreciate that refurbishment is expensive. Exceptional staff who attended to various requests at Reception, even suggested taking the courtesy coach to the Opera House as it was raining, bar generous with fresh water and attention from room service to erratic hot/water supply immediate. We loved our corner bedroom site overlooking the bay, when it could be seen! Also love that Hotel has retained old world charm with lots of nooks and spaces to meet/ chat or view the passing characters. Friendly, competent and pleasing.

Really loved the view! The Oyster Lane restaurant is fantastic. We ate there 3 out of the 4 nights that we were in Wexford. Best food that we've eaten while on our 4-week trip through Ireland. The gym needs some maintenance -- the equipment is rusted and squeaks.

The hot breakfast was simply awful , luke warm, greasy , fried eggs looked awful , beans not even warm …

stayed many times

Pleasant enough stay, fur is a night stop before the ferry from Rosslaire (20 minutes easy drive). Easy parking on hotel car park. Rooms ok, if a little dated. Bathroom again, ok. We are at one of their restaurants which was nice, good service from the waiting staff. Overall a good, if rather forgettable stay.

I enjoyed my stay at the talbot could not fault the bed rooms or cleanliness of the place I used the gym while i was here and it was ok but the cable weights could do with being updated and some of the weight machines Would definately stay again
