This hotel is wonderful! The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good, and the staff was courteous and friendly. I highly recommend dinner. We had some of the best carbonara and pizza I have ever tasted. The airport transfer was very easy. The driver was waiting for us, right outside customs, with our name on a sign. We also used their transfer to the cruise port the next day, which was great and only cost 8 Euros.

Staff was pleasant however the room condition was poor. The free breakfast was underwhelming. Poor selection and eggs and bacon were cold.

Staff very friendly and very helpful. Older hotel but we like that. Very easy to contact the hotel and easy to change our pick up time. Huge variety of food options on buffet breakfast. I would book it again if I ever go back.

The property is a bit dated, but good for a stay over for boarding a cruise . The best feature is the cruise shuttle at a very reasonable price of 5€. If they can offer a shuttle service from the train station to the hotel that will even be better, the taxi drivers at Civitivecchia station are thugs, they will change the agreed price upon arrival ! Very bad experience to begin the journey!

Did the job for one night, but seemed to only have AC in lobby. Did not sleep well due to the heat…old hotel, definitely needs updating!

Very poor choice for evening meal. The menu was written on a piece of paper. This was our second stay and will be our last. The shuttle wasn’t available at the airport until I telephoned the hotel and we had to wait almost an hour.

If budget is the main consideration for a pre cruise stay, this hotel is acceptable. The location is a bit remote (30 minute walk to the main tourist area) and the property is extremely tired with dusty vents, peeling wallpaper, disappointing A/C and some apparent bathroom mould. If a renovation is not possible, a deep cleaning and cosmetic repair is overdue. The staff are friendly and generally helpful. The restaurant is acceptable. There is a local coffee shop and excellent pizza place nearby. Shuttle to the cruise port was good. There are limited hotel options in Civiitivecchia. If budget is an issue, this is worth a look for an overnight stay.

Borgo del Mare was a convenient night's stay before boarding our cruise ship the next day. We appreciated the friendly staff and delicious food.

The staff was very helpful, they have a shuttle to take you to town and the cruise port for a fee. There’s a really good free breakfast.

Everything was ok

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful! Would definitely visit again!
