This is an amazing hotel. I can't stress how great it is. If you are in this area you should stay here. The building is beautiful, the staff is great, the bar is awesome, it's clean, and the grounds are great. Seriously, stay here if you can.

This beautiful castle has been so well taken care of, the entire property is just beautiful. Helpful staff, clean and beautiful room, nothing to say negative at all!!

Gorgeous castle high in the hills of a quaint Abruzzi town. Up graded as much as possible with the exception of air conditioning. Rooms are very spacious with large windows revealing beautiful views of the country side. Front desk people were very helpful and their English was pretty good. Bar and restaurant area are a treat. Chef’s menu was definitely different with delicious items from beginning to end. Francesco, our server and bartender was a pro and made our dinner experience a 10! I highly recommend Chiola and look forward to returning one day.

The hotel is beautiful, decoration a bit strange (a mix of classic italian with modern scandinavian furniture) - but the castle itself is amazing, fantastic views. The town is incredible. We booked this for a special occasion and sadly when we arrived we were told that a wedding reception was taking place in the hotel, and that the pool area/outdoor area and the restaurant were all not available to us!

Costello Chiola is off the beaten track but worth a visit. The hotel is a renovated castle and some aspects are extremely well done. With some minor changes to furniture in the public areas this could look 100% better. The room was large and comfortable and typical Of a 4 star room. The restaurant was a standout of our trip, definitely stay in and eat here. The surrounding village is charming and the drive through countryside to get here is beautiful. A lovely stop in our journey, but would attract more customers if the stunning enclosed central courtyard was furnished with more style.

Sono stato solo una notte e ho trovato la camera calda e accogliente. Il bagno pulito ma un po' vecchiotto. Stona con il resto della camera dove ci sono mobili nuovi e di qualità

Kølig modtagelse i reception. Fik ingen besked om at wifi ikke virkede på værelset. Virkede kun i nærhed af reception. Fik heller ingen besked om at to bryllupper lagde beslag på restaurant om øvrige faciliteter to aftener i træk. Ingen mulighed for at spise på hotellet. Ikke bare en sandwich. Lokalområdet bød på 1 restaurant. Byen utrolig kedelig.

Romantic hotel, very friendly staff, perfect service and excellent restaurant, we really enjoyed our stay in a very nice part of Italy that deserves more attention.

It was very beautiful, but not much to do around it.

A very charming hotel perched on a hill overlooking the town. The staff was wonderful. The scenery was beautiful. My wife and I spent most of our time relaxing by the pool during the day and on the terrace in the evening overlooking the beautiful lights of the town and the stars in the sky. Very tranquil and peaceful location. Highly recommend the hotel.

Flott hotell - vi bodde i 3 etasje - stort og romslig rom, hadde god utsikt over dalen fra vinduet. Litt skuffet over frokosten - bare kald mat - ønsket du feks et kokt egg kostet dette 5,- € i tillegg. Vil gi en ekstra ros til den unge servitøren ved svømmebassenget - han var topp!

Enjoyed the quiet and slower pace. A great place to get away!

Flott hotell i svært vakre omgivelse. Bra restaurant, men ligg unna Bacalaoen.
