Wonderful place right next to many things. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I just spent 4 wonderful days in Venice. This was our first stay at Al Vagon, and it won't be our last. Maurizio the owner, and Adriano his manager, were very helpful, and made us feel very welcomed. Al Vagon's location is perfect. It is right in the middle of almost everything you want to see and do. The room was very comfortable, and was kept extremely clean. We love this place, and so will you. Joel and Jackie Strauss

Highly recommend. Great location right in the middle of everything. Very close to Rialto bridge. Canal view from my window. Better hotel than my 4-star hotel in Rome.

Easy walk from Vaperetto. The staff were very responsive. The building is very old and the room was very tight for four of us. The interior is very dated, maybe they wanted it to be Venetian but still. There was a funky smell. The bathroom was clean and had enough towels. We stayed just a night. It’s loud in the area. The staff were very kind and let us keep the luggage after checking out.

Hard to find but a great location. Helpful staff!

Our room was a bit small but the staff was friendly and helpful. Location wise was walkable to st. Mark's square and to the train station if you did not have a lot of luggage.

The property was charming and authentic. We had a corner room on the second floor with a view of the street from one window and the canal from the other window. Our walk downstairs and onto a small square gave us quick access to shops and a variety of eating places. It was so handy to everything! Checkin and checkout were so easy.

The hotel uses a second building for the economy rooms down a dark, grimey side alley, that wasn't what we expected, so check where your room is located when booking. Room was above takeaway shop that worked late and neighbours, similarly were working late, so light and noise impacted the room. The smell.from.the alley wasn't great.

The room was clean, small but enough for my husband I. The area was very walkable with MANY shops and restaurants surrounding it. The area is pretty loud well into the early hours (at least 1:00 am) but it didn’t bother us. It is a good place for the price.

Busy area with restaurants at the base of the hotel so it's very noisy through the night and early morning. otherwise great hotel, very clean

So misleading looking at the pictures online. When I arrived the door was locked. A man finally let me in. He was rude and unwelcoming. The hotel had a pending charge on my credit card and then charged me the full amount prior to giving me the key. I pulled up the pending charge and he reversed it but wasnt very nice about it. Then he walked me outside and across a dmall square to a dark dirty alley which was where I as a woman traveling alone would have to access. There is no elevator and my room was 3 stories up. No view. Every evening when I used the AC, it drew air from where someone was smoking. It was horrible for a nonsmoker to feel like you were sitting near or trying to fall asleep with cigarette smoke filling the room.

Location and price good. Very hot and small

The building was extremely old and cool, but the amenities were modern. Was a super nice area.

Zimmer sind sauber, kein Aufzug, kein Frühstück, belebtes Umfeld, dadurch quasi mitten drin und sehr nah fussläufig an der Rialto Brücke oder am Marcusplatz… vom Airport mit der Orangenline des Wasserbus Ausstieg Rialto

We had a pleasant stay, definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Venice

Booked the canal view and it was superb.

Gammelt, slitt, men rent. Trist og mørk adkomst, mange trapper, ikke heis.
