旧市街から近いホテル！ 従業員は皆親切！ 朝食の内容は良い！ 部屋は清潔！ このホテルはオススメです！

We had an excellent experience at Hotel Athena. We chose this hotel mostly because they had car parking included and the room price was reasonable, not knowing much else about where to stay in Siena. The town center is a short walk from the hotel and the staff was very helpful. They recommended a restaurant that was one of the best places we ate on our trip to Italy. Beautiful views from the rooftop restaurant as well.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The property is not quite as rustic as some of the others in Siena - it looks like it was updated inside about 10-15 years ago but it’s still in wonderful shape - just not quite rustic or very modern. Coming from a hotel the night before that was also wonderful but rustic I found the better AC and more modern interior amenities a welcome change. I was in a nice big room on the 8th floor with a stunning view from the window and a soaker tub and we loved it. The staff is what really makes this property stand out and why I’d not consider staying anywhere else in Siena next time I come. From the bellhop who parked my car and brought my luggage up - remembering our names two days later when he had to get the car. From the wonderful lady at the front desk who upgraded my room for a tiny fee when she found out we were on our honeymoon. They even got me a reservation that very same night (Saturday of Palio!) at a Osteria da Divo.

It’s ok for a base in Siena. Free parking definitely a bonus. But the hotel itself is very dated, and has dated attitudes to waste management. I don’t need a new plastic tumbler, wrapped in a piece of plastic, every morning. Nor do I need the same with plastic teaspoons. Breakfast was really quite disappointing. Wish we had opted out of that (if available ) and got breakfast somewhere else. Staff were lovely though, and check-in / out all very smooth.

Older, more traditional style but excellent hotel. The staff are amazing, super kind and helpful. We were really impressed, and would definately stay here again.

Amazing staff and phenomenal food and views

All the staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. Serena was particularly outstanding, helping us with everything from dinner reservations, to self-service laundry location, to onward travel bus arrangements when "work in progress" disrupted the train schedule. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and excellently located. Breakfast was a superb range of sweet and savory buffet, and dinner on the terrace was delicious (wirh a grand view).

We stayed here Aug 2025, coming in from Florence. Siena is absolutely gorgeous and Hotel Athena was the perfect hotel to explore the area. The hotel itself was very nice, updated, good sized rooms with nice bathroom. Tea kettle in the room and water in the fridge (at no extra cost) was appreciated after long days on the hills of the town. We dined at the rooftop restaurant twice and the food was excellent, views were unbelievable. As to the hotel staff- I can’t give them enough stars! The front desk staff were so welcoming and helped us arrange a day tour, figure out our return to the train station etc. The restaurant staff was also very good and always checked on us. Oh- the breakfast buffet can’t be missed. Well worth it and no extra charge. Excellent hotel- highly recommend

Beautiful location overlooking the hills of Tuscany! Right from Martina checking us in, and the beautiful room with views, everything was amazing! Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. Very nice bathroom and all the amenities. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning, nice selection of food to choose from. The hotel terrace was a great place to sit and enjoy the view with a glass of wine (thanks Greg!). All staff were pleasant and friendly! Definitely recommend!

This is a great location if you are driving to Siena. It was close to all the attractions. Great view from our room. Easy to find by car and on foot.

Fantastisk fint hotell innenfor bymuren i Siena. Utrolig bra service, alle medarbeiderne gjorde hva de kunne for at vi skulle ha et godt opphold. Alt var strøkent, rent og pent over alt. Nydelig takterrassen med mulighet for både drikke og mat var helt topp. Gangavstand til alt. Hotellet anbefales på det varmeste. Vi bodde 5 dager og hver dag var like suveren!

Staff was incredible - 10 minute walk to everything. Highly recommend! Especially loved front desk crew and Robert in the restaurant.

Great place to stay nearby attraction and walking distance

One of my favourite hotels. ALL of the staff are excellent, helpful and friendly. Room cleaned daily. On site parking was pretty key for staying here for us but even without a car it’s nice. Only a 10 minute walk to the action. Dinner on the terrace was awesome. Not cheap but in line with elsewhere. One of the best views in Siena. And the included breakfast is amazing!! Almost worth it just for breakfast. The dinner and breakfast staff are the best, very friendly and professional. We would stay here again if back in Siena
