Åkte med barn 7 och 11 år så barnpoolen var för liten för dem, dessutom inte fräsch. Både luktade och vattnet smakade illa. I stora poolen blir det djupt direkt. Dessutom tråkig badvakt med stränga (och orimliga regler) så barnen tyckte inte det här var ett bra badställe tyvärr. Maten ok men inte mer än så, inget särskilt för barnen. Hade kunnat finnas pommes, pizza eller pasta bolognese i en egen hörna för dem. Dåligt med dryck utbud för barnen om man inte dricker kolsyra. Vi är glada att vi inte hade all inclusive. Finns en superfin matbutik runt hörnet så lätt att köpa gott och ha på rummet istället. Personalen pratar dålig engelska och är inte uppsökande i kontakten. Engagerad barnklubb med fin personal med god hand med barnen. Smidig shuttle till Naxos/havet. Dock bara två solstolar och ett parasoll på 4 personer så inte så skönt att ligga där länge. Varmt på rummet trots att standardA-C är på. Man kan inte styra själv och inte heller receptionen kunde ställa ner den. Vi mätte till 25 grader när det var dags att sova trots fördragna gardiner och stängd balkong hela dagen. Vi trivdes helt okej men vi hade inte åkt tillbaka igen.

This was a great place to stay for one night with a big group. Only issue was the pool closing at 6:00.

The kitchen staff was absolutely amazing. Maître D. Franco greeted us with a smile and handshake. His cooking staff and bus staff were polite and respectful. The entertainment staff was equally friendly and polite. The front of the house staff was knowledgeable and answered every question we had. Housekeeping staff was on point. Yes we will stay here again. Yes we recommend staying here.

The hotel is great, staff really friendly and helpful and the buffet excellent. Only comment is that some rooms are quite noisy due to the music from the pool/evening and the hotel next door has a very loud disco every evening. Otherwise a really excellent place to stay.

Det er ikke så nemt og komme til hotellet. Hotellet er med klatre-blomster/planter, så vi sad ikke rigtig ude i vores altan da det var fyldt med bier og grønt. Store værelser af ældre standard, men meget fint overalt.

Good entertainment and activities. Breakfast had great options.

Flot hotel, rent og med poolområde samt stor strand lido. Lækker morgenmadsbuffet.

Rummet var rymligt och rent, fin balkong, det fanns det man behövde. Lobbyn stor och trevlig. Badrummet var lite litet och när man duschade så läckte det vatten ut på golvet, duschväggen var inte tät. OBS: Det tillkommer en dyr obligatorisk ”klubbavgift” för shuttlebuss till stranden samt användande av solstolar och parasoll. Man betalar för varje natt oavsett om man använder sig av det eller ej - informationen på bokningssidan om gratis shuttle stämmer inte. Vi hade rum för tre personer men man får bara två solstolar per rum.

I was worried by the previous reviews but need not have been! Food was excellent - both breakfast and evening meals. Didn’t try lunch as we were HB. Always a great choice and really tasty. There was also fresh juice! Yes hotel rooms are slightly dated but it is a traditional hotel with a lot of dark panelling and elsewhere it was well kept and was really clean. Pool area was great and enjoyed the daily aqua. Water temp lovely. Open air entertainment with a pianist and singer, with lots of people dancing. Lovely cocktails. Shuttle bus to the beach was great, as well as easy access to local buses from just outside. Tip - Wouldn’t walk from Alacantra station as we did after coming from the airport - there is no pavement on a fast and busy road with sharp turnings and buses that come whizzing down. We got the public bus to Taormina and the public bus back to the airport from near the hotel beach in Recanti. We had an excellent holiday.

We had a very mixed experience here. First thing to be aware of is that apparently air conditioning is at the discretion of management. We specifically booked somewhere with AC as we knew it could get hot in May and I’m sensitive to heat. When we arrived we thought it was broken and we were told it was actually off as it had not been turned on for the building yet this season, even though the weather was already hot. Not only was it hot in our room but it was incredibly stale air as there seemed to be very little circulation. It made me feel nauseous. We asked for a fan and they did not have one. We did everything we could to get it turned on and eventually we were told it would be turned on the next day, which it was. The staff at the front desk did try to help but ultimately it wasn’t their decision. If it hadn’t been turned on the next day we would have left. The pool was only open until 6pm so we couldn’t cool off that way either. Very nice looking pool but a shame we didn’t get to use it. The place was also a bit loud. Our room faced the train and the entrance. The first night we were woken up a little after midnight by fireworks being set off in front of the building. Once other thing to note that is that Google Maps will tell you that it is a 6 minute walk from the train station. It is not. They try to have you cross train tracks and a fence. Unless you want to walk at least 20 minutes (sometimes on very busy roads with no sidewalk) then book a taxi.

Purtroppo l’unica pecca è la posizione. Per tutto il resto è stato un piacevole soggiorno.

Yemekler çok kötüydü. Her akşam domuz eti ve çok kötü balık. İnternet rezalet hiçbir yerde çekmiyordu

Hotel is tired inside and food was disappointing. Drinks were only available in paper cups and limited to lower brands apart from beer. Hotel is in a great location for the beach via a shuttle service and Taormina which is amazing.

Rart personale, rent overalt, shuttlebus til stranden, god morgenmad, underholdning og value for money

Mycket bra transfer till stranden varje dag. Och att det inte kostade att ligga på stranden. Även bra att man kunde fylla på vatten i egen flaska hela tiden samt att dryck ingick vid middagen. Läget var dock mindre bra och att det inte fanns någon supermarket i närheten. Servicenivån av personalen var det lite si och så med. Det var dock många, som var bra. Framförallt dom vid poolen.
