ホテル ド ラ ポステ

コルティナでは老舗ホテルのようで男性スタッフの制服姿は素敵でした。ベランダがありましたが、老朽化しており大きなカップルが2人で立ったら、どうなるだろうと思いました。 朝ご飯はシリアルとパンの種類は沢山ありましたが、温かい物はなく期待外れでした。

2023年7月18日（火）～3泊、50代夫婦で宿泊。ボルツァーノからレンタカーで到着。コルティナダンペッツォの中心地にあってとても便利。駐車場はホテルから徒歩3分程度の野っぱら、無料。部屋については基本快適なのですが、お湯がなかなか出なかったこと、バスタブと洗面の間仕切りにシャワーカーテンも扉もないのでシャワーするのが超難しいことがマイナス評価です。。。あと、1€＝161円精算の時期でもあって、1泊／1室／朝食付き、約40,000円超は、自分達には贅沢過ぎました。。。

　木の二重ﾄﾞｱの開け閉めが、大変ですが、静かで快適でした。frontの向かいが、ｺﾝｼｪﾙｼﾞｪでguestの名前と部屋番号を覚えているprofessinalでした。

Located in center of the city, Hotel de la Poste is very convenient to everywhere. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop of shuttle bus service which takes you ski area around the city. Staff of the hotel are so friendly and professional, especially, Mr. Lorenzio, a concierge of the hotel is outstanding. He helped us a lot in very details and made our stay very comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is very friendly and professional. I loved the charm and detail of the decor. It was in a great location in the middle of Cortina. I am planning to stay here again next year!

It was a good hotel but in need of an update. Some might find the double doors and the old fashioned room key charming, but it was a pain to lock and unlock the door. I also couldn’t shower without getting water everywhere ( typical European bathroom with a hand held hose and no shower curtain). It was extremely clean and the staff were amazing. The location was perfect - right on the Corso d’Italia. It did get a bit noisy at night due to the bar across the street. But it wasn’t too bad. Overall I enjoyed my stay there.

If you are driving, the parking is very confusing. I arrived at the hotel right before 6, but it took me about an hour to figure out the parking. There is an unmarked gate that you are supposed to pull up to, then call the hotel and they will open and meet you out there, then you pull into the square where people are walking all over and you drop off your bags. If you miss this gate, you are stuck in a loop (and with there being traffic, each loop took me 20 minutes). I didn’t know about this the first time, then the second time another hotel was parked at the gate, so I missed it again. The third time I found the gate and did it, and then after dropping my bags and checking in, I had to do the loop again to park in their free parking lot. It was A LOT to figure out on the fly. I didn’t see any mention of this parking situation with any of the information they sent me, so it was a bit annoying. Once I figured it out, everything else about the hotel was great!

A fan or AC would have helped, great location but noisy in the street

El La poste es un hotel antiguo pero ubicado en el centro de Cortina de Ampezzo. Por lo mismo con múltiples para comer y bien ir de compras. Su comedor es excelente y el desayuno muy bueno. Lo único es que los cuartos ya se sienten antiguos y requieren remodelación

Centrally located in the center of Cortina. Hotel is rustic in a good way, and all in all gives feelings of “good old days”. Service was across the board unusually good, caring, professional and friendly. If I had the guess, people have been working here for decades and kept good care of. While hotel hasn’t gone through a major renovation recently, it has been well maintained and somehow the old fashioned decoration adds to the “good old days” atmosphere. Also breakfast was on the better side of what’s typically available in Italian hotels in this category. All in all a delightful experience.

Wonderful old world charm

Room service went into my room and started making bed and cleaning while I was having breakfast (a 7am). All my luggage was still in the room so it was evident I was still using the room.

Many aspects still leave a "meh" feeling after staying at this hotel: wifi was very slow, facilities are I think the very historic ones (so I slept in a bed 50 years old?) including furniture. Shower: good, but not having a glass in the bathtub makes a mess when showering. I had to ask for shampoo (not available at my room) and later I understood they should have also left bath salts, which were not left after I flagged I had no shampoo. Breakfast: after a big big group came at 7am and ate everything, we waited until 7:50 but food was not replenished. There was a big group of (evidently beyond tipsy) noisy travelers playing music over a big Bluetooth speaker at the lobby, and they were allowed to keep their behavior. Food options in the neighborhood: too many pricey food options and not really looking tasty. I had to explain twice I was offered a bottle of wine for free via Expedia, which only ended up being accepted after I showed the confirmation on my app. Price was not up to par to: services offered, breakfast quality (and availability).

Staff at front desk exceptional, old school gentlemen and make sure you get car service and any directions. Hotel is the center of the town and people come to gather there which makes it a great location. Bus takes you straight from hotel to mountain.

Hotel sempre affascinante e caratteristico. Personale veramente super gentile e disponibile. Un soggiorno di lavoro molto piacevole seppur molto breve.

Hotel de la Post in Cortina was a wonderful place to stay. It was physically charming, but was so special were the staff. From the head concierge to the house cleaning staff everyone was so friendly and helpful. We hope to return and will highly recommend it to friends who want to travel to the Dolomites!

Everything about this hotel I rate ‘excellent’ with one exception: Please provide better sleeping pillows. Hubby and I have back problems and a more supportive pillow would have provided a better night sleep. That’s it!

historical and very well maintained with great staff

The property and room is historic in character but my room had a musty odor. I left the window open for fresh air. The breakfast is incredible.
