ホテル メルリニ

駅や観光スポットから近く便利だった．ホテル近くに雑貨屋やレストランもあり．呼び鈴でスタッフに玄関を開けてもらう必要があるのは少し面倒くさいが，基本的にいつでも対応してくれるとの事だった．

鉄道駅と中央市場に近く、周囲にレストランもあり、過ごしやすい場所でした。ホテルにはエレベーターがなく、スーツケースを運ぶのも大変で、部屋も少し古めで、蚊が入りやすく、シャワーの排水もよくなかったですが、全体的に配慮が行き届いており、ほのぼのとした雰囲気でリラックスできました。

11月下旬に一泊しました。他のホテルと共同の建物なので見つけるのに苦労しましたが、それ以外は部屋、スタッフ、コスト、ロケーションともに良いホテルでした。

駅からも近く、ドゥオーモまでも程よい距離でロケーションは最高です。 1つ星としては設備もよいし、スタッフの応対もよいです。（気さくなおじさんとおばさんでした） お湯は水圧は強くありませんがちゃんと出ました。備え付けのドライヤーが新しくてパワフルでした。 シャンプーなどのアメニティーは一切ありません。 隣の音は気になりませんでしたが、配管か何かの音が夜少しだけ気になりましたが壁が薄い感じではありませんでした。毎日ベッドメーキングもしてくれてタオルが一つ星にしてはとても上等で気持ち良かったです。 強いて難点をあげるならば、朝食はお値段相応で、クロワッサンとコーヒーとオレンジジュースと果物少々、あまり期待せずちゃんと食べたい人は外で食べたほうが良いかもしれません。 あと、４階なので重いスーツケースの方は大変かもしれません。宿の看板はあまり目立たなくて各階に他のホテルも 入っているのでちょっと紛らわしいです。宿のエントランスのドアは常に鍵がかかっていてブザーを鳴らさないとドアをたたいたくらいではスタッフに気づいてもらえませんのでご注意を。私たちはブザーの存在に気づかず、チエックイン前の時間だったので誰もいないのかと思い、諦めて出直したのが大変でした。 チエックアウト後も快く荷物を預かってもらえて大変助かりました。 フィレンツェに行ったらまた泊まりたいと思います。

Hotel Merlini is a beautiful and unique stay! My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights and loved our room, the rustic Tuscan decor and the family who run the hotel are so hospitable and friendly, we didn't want to leave! The location is so central in Florence, recommend very highly!

The hotel is in a building with a hostel and other hotels. But the lift takes you to a beautifully old-fashioned hotel on the top floor without any noise from lower down. The breakfast room is particularly attractive, with paintings and a view to the Cathedral and Palazzo Vecchio. Breakfast was great too. The staff couldn't have been more helpful (we much appreciated the umbrella they lent us!)

Il gestore è stato disponibilissimo info di ogni tipo e nel darci consigli su dove cenare, abbiamo potuto lasciare le valigie dal check out fino alla partenza del treno. Posizione comoda per vicinanza Stazione Smn ma anche per ristoranti, luoghi da visitare, Mercato Centrale

This hotel was in a very safe location. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean.

This is a beautiful old building, the top floor of which, contains the Hotel Merlini. The ground level has a bar with karaoke, but the activity dies down by 11pm or so. Even in full swing, the sounds faded away by the time I got upstairs - a benefit to the old style of construction. The room was spotless and well maintained during my stay. The hotel is not a 4 star hotel with pool, concierge, workout room, etc. but I didn't want that. I don't go to Firenze to be entertained at a resort-like compound. I want a place to sleep, wash up, and turnaround to hit the town again. The family that runs it is very friendly and always (24hrs a day) available to let you in - as your room key does not open the front door, it is manned by a family member at all times. At first, I thought that was inefficient, but I am sure it is done for security reasons. If what you are looking for is a clean room, friendly staff, in a simple but clean and well-maintained hotel that is 5 minutes from rail and in the midst of the old section of the city, this is the place for you. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Ubicacion excelente. Mejor imposible, cerva de todo para ir caminando y comodo para ir y volver de la eatacion de tren. Personal super atentos y amorosos. Habitacion muy buen tamaño, comoda y limpieza perfecta.

The outside looks old but when we saw our room it was nice. All the comforts are available. Will definitely refer this hotel to friends

Ótima localização, hotel familiar, atendimento ótimo, café bom, quarto amplo, cama boa, ótimo custo benefício.

We LOVED staying at the Merlini (3 nights). The couple who run it are extremely nice and helpful (as we checked out, they even offered my kids a brioche). It is 5-10 minutes walk from the Duomo, 5 mn from the train station. There are trattoria, fruit vendors, pasticerrias (for fresh breakfast items and sandwiches) on the street and the adjacent one. We could see the Duomo from our room. I felt totally safe leaving computers and some valuables in the room. You do need to walk up 4 flights of stairs, and the AC was not working in the room (but I didn't ask to get it fixed, it was fine without it). I'd definitely stay there again!

The staff was very friendly and helpful during checkin/checkout. Assisted bringing luggage up and down flight of stairs.
