Hotel O Sole Mio

The reception of the hotel looked ok! We looked forward to relax here, and since there is 4 of us (2 kids) we booked an apartment belonging to the hotel (for 5 nights). Looked really nice on the pictures!! And the hotel was rated with 4 stars so we felt really safe. When entering, this was a cottage, not an appartement. Did not felt like 4 stars at all!! It was clean, the aircondition was ok, the bathroom was actually nice, but the kitchen was very old, and the garden was terrible. Broken plastic furnitures, not enough chairs, mold not gras, a lot of mosquitos. It felt like terrible camping. They didn't even try to make it look cozy. They said that no cleaning during our stay was included. According to hotels.com, it should be daily cleaning. Due to this, we immediately contacted them trying to find a solution. They hesitated and ment that they couldn't do anything (the hotel was fully booked). I suggested that we could stay for 1-2 nights then move on, but they were really rude and didn't want to meet us at all. We have been traveling a lot, but I have never been this disappointed. The garden is terrible, the service as well, and the pictures really lies! This was a really boring experience, and to save the holiday we checked out after 1 night. (And - they didn't wanted to confirm that we checked out after only 1 night. They were just interested in arguing...)

This hotel is out a bit from the village and quiet and we had a countryside view. The staff were very helpful, out room was clean and comfortable. It was a short walk from the village but we took the car and there are several shops/restaurants though we had dinner in the hotel on the first night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel’s pool and surrounding area were beautiful. Breakfast offered a good variety of options and was more than sufficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Tudo foi perfeito, desde a chegada até a saída, quarto super limpo, funcionários prestativos e educados, café da manhã muito bom, ar condicionado maravilhoso, silencioso e eficiente na temperatura.

Everyone was very friendly! Rooms were clean! They do need to have irons there so guest can iron their clothes . Breakfast buffet was delicious. Grounds are beautiful. Resonable pricing and we love the public transportation option for the guests. We would recommend to anyone staying in Sorrento . Grazie

We loved the cleaning lady on our floor! I would not recommend eating the dinner at the restaurant on site but it’s good enough for the breakfast included. Plan on taking some time in your day to enjoy the pool. Staff on site speaks English or Italian. Not very helpful when it came to scheduling transportation. This will be your biggest expense if you’re not careful when you stay on this property.

The stay overall was good. I did not like that the pool was closed. Also, there is a very steep hill that shows up on the navigation that all cars cannot pass through. It made for a very scare experience. I think there should be a note in the directions provided by you guys that says to stay on the main road until you reach the town. Breakfast was excellent. all else was good.

A special thank you to Veronica at the front desk for her kindness, professionalism, and outstanding customer service. I would also like to recognize Franco for his excellent attention and willingness to help throughout our stay. The hospitality of the entire team made us feel welcome and cared for. I would gladly return to this hotel because of the wonderful service provided by everyone, especially Veronica and Franco. Highly recommende

We really enjoyed the cottage. It was super quiet. It wins the most pillows award in our month-long travels. Easy walk to town and hiking trails. We even had a BBQ one night. Great views as well. Staff was extremely helpful with local bus directions to Sorrento - glad we listened to them and did not drive.

The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs especially arranging transportation to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Air conditioning was minimal and we had to open balcony doors at night in order to sleep comfortably. Overall would recommend staying at this property as it was high up in the hills and quiet.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful! The hotel was modern and clean & the location was great as it was close to the village with lots of restaurants and walkable to the busses that take you into Sorrento town

Excellent stay

Our stay at O Sole Mio was enjoyable overall. The hotel was very clean, with excellent room service and a lovely garden, though some renovation work and the small pool were a bit disruptive. Staff were friendly and welcoming, special thanks to Veronica in the hotel reception for her outstanding service. The main drawback is the location: being uphill, it’s cooler than Sorrento and takes about 20–25 minutes each time to reach town. Breakfast could also be improved, as the constant questions from catering staff felt intrusive rather than relaxing. A clean, welcoming hotel with great service, but the location and a few small issues slightly affected our stay.
