Wonderful location away from crowds but close to town. Excellent restaurant with very good service.

Great location. Room was basic and the shower didn’t have a door so it wet the entire bathroom when you turned the shower on. Aside from that, we had a great stay. The dinner menu was excellent. Best meal we had in Positano. Will definitely recommend.

The room is spacious and clean. The location is superb with a secluded beach. It is close to the main city and beach area with excellent dining options closeby.

The hotel is in an amazing area. Quick walk from ferry and close to shopping and restaurants. Gorgeous beachfront views and easy access to beach. Food at restaurant was good but service was a little lacking there. Front desk and porters were great though. So helpful!

The room was clean, the location was great, the front desk personnel was professional and courteous, the breakfast was fantastic. The gentleman that was the porter was wonderful, he helped us with the luggage when we arrived from the ferry and got our luggage up several staircases where the cab picked us up to take us to the airport. He was kind, courteous, and very professional.

Everyone and thing was lovely. Truly it was. But the sheets were so rough it made sleeping difficult. It could just be me but a higher thread count would make this the perfect stay.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. 5 minute walk to Positano center. Hotel is extremely clean and beautiful. Right on the beach. Great view from room. Great food. 10/10.

Hotel Puppetto was amazing! We would 100% stay here again. The view from our room/balcony was incredible. Super close to Fornillo beach. Bathroom and room were modern and clean. We had room service come each day and tidy the room and provide fresh towels. We had lunch at the restaurant which was delicious- however on the pricer side due to location. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. The porters took our luggage to the top where our driver was to which we paid a small tip. There are steps that are required to get down to the hotel, which aren’t for everyone. There was a path without steps to get to the main beach and town which was super easy to navigate. However everything else was up lots of stairs (Positano style)

Flott lokalisering nede ved stranda og litt ut av bykjernen. Men enkel vei (iten trapper) inn til havna og bykjernen. Litt dyr parkering (på Hotels står det 18 EUR og rabatt mulig - i realiteten er det mellom 35 og 45 for dei vanlige bilstørrelsene. Parkering er uansett ein utfordring i Positano - men verdt besøket.

We had a wonderful few days at hotel Pupetto. The location is close to the ferries and a relatively easy walk to the main area of town. There are lots of stairs and windy walkways in Positano but we were always able to easily navigate wondering around town then being able to get back to the hotel. The beach is gorgeous however it is rocky, water shoes are a must to make it fully enjoyable. The water is warm and feels like you are in paradise. The hotel staff at every encounter were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. If we ever come back to Positano I definitely will be returning to this hotel.

This hotel is very nice and the views are great. It’s clean and room and balcony are very large, my only issue was that I booked this because it was on the beach, being Positano I was looking for something that didn’t have a lot of stairs to climb. BUT… it’s not in the actual town, you have to walk about 13 minutes to get to hotel and it’s a steep walkway. By the time you walk into town you’re already tired. I wish I would have known that before booking. Other than that the place was good.

I was unaware that the beach chairs were an additional cost. I had assumed they were included as a guest benefit. Nevertheless, everything was fantastic!

The charm of hotel Pupetto was amazing! we really enjoyed spending a day at the beach club and we also enjoyed a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was very nice to have our luggage be brought up from the ferry by the porter as it is very hilly. The location was beautiful easy walk into town.

Hotel Pupetto is such a beautiful place to stay at! The whole staff from the front desk to the maids and the porters made this experience much better. The private beach made beach days pleasant. I will be returning next year!

It’s a walk from the pier ( if arriving via ferry) to the hotel but there is a complimentary porter service to help carry your luggage. The optional tip given was well earned.The hotel is situated about a less than 10 min walk (some parts are slightly uphill) from the main part of town where all the shops and restaurants are located. This area gets really packed with people so being a short walk away was welcoming for us. This near by tourist area is great to wander through and for shopping or gelato. The room was spacious and clean. Internet access was good. The hotel has a nice breakfast with a beautiful view of the water. One of the best parts is the hotel has it’s own beach area where you can reserve a 2-person chair with umbrella. Particularly ideal because the main beach area (10 minwalk away) is so packed with people. It was comfortable with far less people at the hotel’s private beach access. One night, we made reservations at the hotel’s restaurant. Although the service was great, view spectacular, and food delicious, the food portions for certain dishes was extremely small for the price you pay. Not sure if it’s the same at other seafood restaurants in the area. Other than that, it’s an awesome hotel and I would definitely come back in the future.

Front desk is very helpful and very hospitable. The room is very clean. The hotel has its own beach club that is accessible to their guest anytime. Location is perfect! It’s near to all the actions, transportation, shopping, beach, food and restaurants. And if you’re done with all the activities, the hotel is just a near access to unwind with the perfect sea view, from your room, or just chill at the hotel restaurant.
