Room 211 was perfect. The balcony was large, had a private jacuzzi, and a beautiful and unobstructed view of the sea. The staff was warm, welcoming, and super helpful. It was only a 12-13 minute walk to the old town. We would stay there again and again.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location…10-15 minute walk to the old town with restaurants and shops. The ocean views are wonderful with chairs all Ali g side in order to enjoy it. The ocean is reachable by a staircase…lots of stairs but I felt safe using them. Our room was large, beds and pillows were comfy. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast which was included was delicious with lots of variety. The staff were all very friendly. Francesco is the bartender and was always there when we wanted a drink and snacks. He made great Mai Tais. There is a small pool…about twice the size of a hot tub. This little pool came in handy for me when I reached the top of the stairs from the beach…very refreshing. Beautiful outdoor lounges and table and chairs. My one complaint would be their hair dryers…just a nozzle really with hot air. Other than that, I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Very disappointed - not as represented on site. Room had a smell. Hotel is dated and areas were not clean. Staff tried but manager seemed like everything was too much for her to handle and she complained to guests.

Great location and great breakfast

I was assigned a wheelchair room and it was not suitable to us. The bathroom facility was terrible. The toilet was so high I couldn’t touch the floor. Staff was average in accommodating our requests. Always felt like I was asking too much even if it was just for ice for our room. Towels were very worn. Apart from that view was amazing.

Very beautiful and cozy boutique hotel with great view of the water and very clean rooms. Private walkway to the beach and great hospitality throughout. I would come back again.

The view is unbelievable! Spacious room - very clean. Great staff. Very walkable to the center where there are so many restaurants and shops. Wish we could have stayed longer

Misleading photos. Rooms are tiny and dated, pool is more like a tub, and the “beach access” means 180 steps to a public beach. Only plus was the terrace view. Tried to check out early, but no one at the front desk at 7 a.m. On the bright side, the staff and bartender were very nice.

This hotell is in prime position, overlooking the water and a 12 minute walk into the town centre. To get to the beach, they have stairs (184 steps, i counted) snd you can either sit on one of the private beaches, or like us, buy a €10 umbrella and ger comfy on the sand (the hotel supllies brach towels, no limit). The staff were all anszjng snd accommodating, could not fault them. Always ups for a chat, with a smile and they even laughed at our Aussie humour. Our room (305, seaview) was ok sized, with a great L shaped balcony overlooking the sea. The room was a little tired looking, the rain shower didn’t work well as most of the holes were rusted and clogged, but tge hand help shower was supee poweful, so i was happy with that. The breakfast was ggod, greek yoghurt, fruit, museli, nuts, cold meats, cheeses, bread, cakes, boiled eggs, bacon scambled eggs, sausages, espresso coffees (whatever you like), tea, juices and water. All in all in was a good 4 star hotel, but for the average price we paid €390/night, ww have stayed in better. But you do pay for the view. Also, the pool is a plunge pool/spa, not very large, so if like us you wanted a pool to swim, then be aware of this. Would i go back there....hmmm, i did love the position and the staff but fir the price, probably not

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel made our stay in Tropea comfortable and tranquil. Would highly recommend hotel Rocca della Sena
