Flott sted. Mye mulig det eneste med denne strandtilgangen med umiddelbar nærhet til Tropea by. En liten trapp opp til byen rett ved hotellet som vi ikke oppdaget før siste dagen. Kort gåtur til haven om man vil på utflukter med båt. Ikke dra til Tropea uten å ta noen netter her.

The hotel was above my expectations and went beyond what I thought it would be like. The breakfast was lovely. The staff was so helpful and everything was super super Clayton. I loved that it was next to the train station because you can hop town to town yet you are so close to the city town and walk to it and the beach shuttle was very convenient.

Tropis ör ett professionellt skott hotell med internationella turister. Maten ör väldigt vällagad och generöst tilltagen. Personalen har ett professionellt bemötande med något enstaka undantag. Jag tog ett budgetrum vilket inte rekommenderas om man stannar löngre än ett par dagar. För trångt för två personer och sommartid behövs en balkong. Det ärnlite besvärligt att ta sog till stranden och inte helt billigt att bada i tropea. Solstolar kostar mellan 30-50 euro per dag.

The hotel, which is a casual, 10 minute walk from the train station, offers a lot for different travellers. If arriving by car, parking is available on premises.
The property was very clean and welcoming, as was the staff. The swimming pool is lovely, large, and has two Jacuzzi sections attached to it and there are pool side beds and seats for relaxing. One has to bring their own towel or rent a towel as the property does not want clients using room towels.
The hotel has a great breakfast replete with a human barista. I did not eat in the restaurant other than the breakfast but lunch and dinner are available within certain hours.
The walk to the beach from the property takes about 30 minutes. This allows one to enjoy the quaintness of Tropea while walking slowly.
If someone struggles with stairs, a car can be hired to deliver one to the beach or one can enjoy the pool as the beach can only be reached by doing stairs.
Rooms were clean and relatively large by Italian standards although the shower stall would be a challenge for non, height and weight proportioned people.
There is also a small exercise centre on premises for a surcharge of €2/visit.
I would stay again, and recommend this property without reservation for what it offers.

The hotel was very well maintained. The room was clean, had refrigerator and nice shower . The staff is very friendly and efficient. The hotel situated on the top of the hill about 10 minutes walking from the center, 15 minutes walking from the beach, and 6 minutes walking from the train station. There are tons of great restaurants in the center. I booked this hotel because the website states that it has pool and sauna, The pool was great and clean, but I found out that If you want to use sauna, you have to pay for it separately €20/40minutes, also the use of the beach towel is €3 per use. If you want to use shuttle to the beach it is €20 at scheduled times. Breakfast was great, but would not recommend it for dinner. I only booked dinner one time, because they had local musicians playing Calabrian music. The music and performance were great, but the food tasted like warmed up frozen dinners and wine was not included in the price of the dinner (€35). They have good variety of massages and almost everyday, as an addition include complimentary mini facial , I think the name of the massage girl was Vincenza, she was really great. You just have to book your appointment at the front desk during morning time. Overall great hotel, would stay here again.

Overall, we had a good experience here. One problem was the shower size. It was very tiny. Maybe 3 ft by 3 ft. Also, it's not a flat walk to the city center. Expect to walk up and down the hill. We're in good physical shape so the walk was not bad at all, but if you need assistance or a wheel chair, this could be a problem.
