Hotel Vecchio Mulino

Hotel was nice... staff was courteous but there was no internet in our room. Repeatedly brought the issue up, but they never fixed it. Just gave up.

Not a good location ,too isolated. No restaurant and only one nearby. We were the only residents for the first 2 nights...weird. Staff friendly and room good. No tea/coffee making in room..unusual these days.

God standard. 2 personal utmärkte sig särskilt att vara mycket trevliga och service inriktade. Gratis parkering och mycket gott läge på hotellet. Air conditionern på rummet lät stundtals mer än normalt vilket personalen inte kunde hjälpa oss med. God frukost.

This hotel was a bit hard to find and when we got there it seemed that we were the only ones. The dining room was nearly empty, but we had great service. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Parking right outside the door.

L'hotel è nella media, il personale abbastanza cordiale e gentile, ma in generale l'hotel non sembra un 4 stelle. Buona la posizione e ottima la spiaggia convenzionata (lido santo Stefano).

discreta base per viste in zona. comodo parcheggio, pulito, personale gentile. la spiaggia è raggiungibile in macchina così come il centro. colazione varia ma di qualità modesta. prezzo elevato per la zona

Nice Hotel, nice area, quiet, no complaints.

Vecchio Mulino feels like a relic of a time past, but it's worth the stay. The staff is fantastic, the location is odd (right next to a train track, on a large road, 5 minutes from town and 5 minutes from the beach), the breakfast sub-par (but included), and the rooms large, with outdated amenities such as a phone built into the night stand. For the price, well worth it, especially during the summer when the beach hotels are full.

Apart from it being a ca 15 min walk from the city and 10 city walk from the beach (which was only ok) it was all good. Not a lot of people seem to walk in this city so the pavements and way to the city and beach didn't make for a very nice promenade, but definable doable. It is best to have a car. The breakfast had mostly pastries, but also some bread and cereal. The employees at the hotel weren't that good at English, but it didn't cause too many difficulties. The railway passes right outside of the hotel and is noisy, but it passes approx once an hour and isn't that disturbing. All in all I would stay here again for the price we paid (ca 900€/night for a double room).

Grazioso hotel a due passi dal mare e dal centro, offrono un'ottima colazione, hanno una convenzione con un bellissimo lido in una bellissima insenatura, camera ottima, pulita e confortevole. unico punto debole la vicinanza con la linea ferroviaria

There was not fresh bread at the breakfast. When we asked for it takes approximately 20 minutes.

The hotel is good, and also its beach is very nice. The only problem is that the hotel is not at the beach or in the town of Monopoli but in the unkept outskirts. If you have a car, it works. But be aware that Monopoli does not have proper taxi service, so if you go to the nice restaurants in the centre for dinner, you will need to choose between driving, walking, and a rip-off by private 'taxi' enterpreuners.

Sono stata all'hotel Vecchio Mulino solo per una notte ma mi sono trovata molto bene. Le camere sono spaziose, curate e pulite, così come i bagni. La posizione è decentrata rispetto al centro ma sulla strada principale per cui è molto comodo raggiungere sia il centro città che le spiagge della zona (in particolare il Capitolo). Il personale è simpatico, gentile e premuroso. Unica nota dolente poco insonorizzato: si sentono le voci delle camere vicine e il treno che purtroppo passa anche di notte.
