Hotel Vega was such a beautiful and welcoming place to stay. The staff instantly won our hearts. You can tell everyone loved Hotel Vega, if they were an employee or guest. The views at breakfast couldn't get any better. We would gladly stay here again on our next vacation to Lake Garda.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Marco. Location is nearby ferry to Riva, Limone, and rest of Garda. Parking was worth the few extra Euros, most everything you need is within walking distance, so we parked in their secure location and forgot about our vehicle for a few days. We were right on the water and could hear the waves - very relaxing.

Wir war als Pärchen für ein Nacht lang da. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Schade war, dass die Platzwahl bei Frühstück vorher festgelegt wurde (ist aber auch verständlich) und das der Pool leider nicht beheizt war (wir waren im Oktober dort). Wir sind eigentlich nur wegen dem Pool in dieses Hotel gegangen. Die Aussicht beim Frühstück ist zwar sehr schön, bekommt man jedoch günstiger und vielleicht sogar schöner, wenn man einfach 300 Meter weiter auswärts frühstückt. Insgesamt aber ein angenehmes Hotel.

Great location with beautiful views

From the moment we arrived, the staff provided exceptional service. I was particularly impressed by their attention to detail, the entire staff knew every guest by name and room number. I have never felt so safe and secure in a hotel like I did at hotel Vega. And on a sidenote, the breakfast was phenomenal. Give them 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️

Vi är extremt nöjda med vår vistelse på Hotell Vega i Malcesine. Redan vid ankomsten möttes vi av en underbar atmosfär och ett fantastiskt bemötande. Personalen var otroligt trevlig, personlig och hjälpsam under hela vår vistelse. Vårt rum överträffade förväntningarna – både balkong och egen terrass med en helt magisk utsikt över Gardasjön. Det är svårt att tänka sig ett bättre läge, mitt i hjärtat av Malcesine och med allt inom räckhåll. Vi uppskattade också de prisvärda drinkarna och ölen som kunde avnjutas i en avslappnad miljö. Kombinationen av läget, servicen och den unika utsikten gör detta hotell till något alldeles extra. Vi kan inte annat än varmt rekommendera Hotell Vega – vi längtar redan tillbaka!

Lovely small hotel. Friendly staff. Close to walk to the lovely restaurants and bars nearby.

I recently stayed at the property with my partner for three nights and we had an excellent time. The hotel is in a fantastic location and it is kept in pristine condition. The view from breakfast is certainly something that should be experienced. The parking next to the property is also a real bonus based on how difficult it can be to park in Malcesine. The owner, Marco, is a very proud and hospitable man who made us feel very welcome. I hope to return soon :-)

The hotel is located in the very best spot in a very quiet spot a two minute walk from the centre of Malcesine. is luxurious. The attention to detail is second to none. The staff display exceptional customer care. The breakfast was very varied with high quality home made and fresh produce.

I stayed for 5 nights at Hotel Vega and enjoyed each one. The staff is wonderful, the bed was the most comfortable one I had during my travels in Italy. Hotel is right on the water, very quick walk to town centre/shops/restaurants, ferries, and waterfront boardwalk. They had a great breakfast each morning which was a nice start to the day. I loved sitting on the waterfront deck and going swimming. Oh and the hotel is spotless clean, which is really important to me! I booked the waterfront junior suite, it was worth it.

My husband and I had a fantastic time staying at Hotel Vega, we felt very welcome and looked after. The hotel is located very close to the main town so it’s an easy walk to get just about everywhere. We opted for the junior suite, and the room was plenty spacious and the view absolutely breathtaking, amenities were in good condition and housekeeping came daily. The morning breakfast was delicious, served from 7-10am and fresh coffee and eggs always served. Unlike most buffet style breakfast, fresh food is brought out little and often, so if you prefer to eat a little later you know you’re not eating food that’s been out for an hour or two. We will very much love to return.

Lived this hotel, right at the lake

Kändes fräscht och lyxigt. Förstår inte alls varför det bara är trestjärnigt men kanske för det fanns olika nivåer och trappsteg på flera ställen. Vi var supernöjda med allt utom den tunna kudden.

Fabulous hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in a junior suite overlooking the lake which was wonderful. Dining area also overlooks the lake and breakfast was great with lots of choice. Hotel is a stone’s throw away from the shops, restaurants and ferries. Can highly recommend Malcesine and Hotel Vega!

Hotel Vega is a Perfect place to spend a few days in Lake Garda. Good, friendly and helpful service. The town is busy but accessible. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, even for GF options.

Our sixth year in Malcesine but our first at Hotel Vega. The best hotel we have found in Malcesine, will definitely return.
