Beautiful grounds and setting, staff were attentive and very friendly, pool was lovely, breakfast was delicious with too many options to choose from. A great stay all around!

Prachtige accommodatie in oude stijl. Super behulpzaam en aardig personeel. Goed ontbijt (zeker voor Italiaanse begrippen). Heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant. Alles wat nodig is op de kamer.

Amazing property, it was so beautiful. The staff was absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay here.

Excellent hôtel si l'on possède un véhicule, au barycentre des différents villages des Pouilles. Il permet de se reposer au calme après les visites au milieu parfois de la foule. Accueil, cadre et chambres très chaleureux. Je recommande !

CONS: This property is definitely not a 4 star hotel. It looks better on the pictures than in reality. Hard to get to the room with a lot of lugagges, basic room with shower where the curtain was too short and water was leaking on the floor. I almost fell in the shower. We also had a spider in the room and spider net on the ceiling. The breakfast was underwhelming, cold scrambled eggs, hams and cheeses looked warm. The swimming pool was dirty. The property can be loud if there is an event or if there is a club party next to it. They gave us ear plugs on the second day in case we can’t sleep and we didn’t want to lose a night of sleep and checked out earlier for this reason. PROS: The staff were nice. The property and entrance to the property are very nice.

I recently stayed at Hotel Il Trappetello. The location is beautiful, with a stunning view and an excellent base for visiting the main attractions in the area. The building is charming, but it would require more attention to detail. Overall, the hotel’s maintenance could be improved. The staff was mostly polite, but we had a bad experience with a person who seemed to be part of the management. One evening, this person kindly offered us two spritz. Even though we didn’t want them, he insisted very politely, so we accepted. However, at the end of our stay, we discovered that we had been charged for them. We felt a bit deceived and taken advantage of. While the situation was disappointing, we hope that the hotel management will address these issues to enhance the overall guest experience. A more transparent approach to service and billing would greatly improve guests’ trust and satisfaction.

We just ended our three-day-stay at IlTrappetello and must say it was marvelous! Not only is the hotel itself worth seeing with its very nice interior details, the staff made us feel welcome from the first until the last minute of our stay. Located close to Monopoli, it’s a perfect spot for your visit to the coastline, without being in the hustle and bustle of the coastal towns. Don’t hesitate to also enjoy the lovely cuisine of the hotel. We mainly liked the creamy croissants for breakfast and the very charming Ferragosto dinner we signed up for the 14th of August. The staff is very caring, they even foresaw a bottle of prosecco since I was celebrating my birthday during our stay there. Don’t hesitate to also ask them about the interesting history of the hotel, since it adds to the story of your stay there! Overall, we were very happy with our stay at IlTrappetello, with its elegant architecture and incredibly kind staff. We’d love to come back one day 😊

Site splendide, piscine magnifique, eau bien temperee, chambre agréable quoique petite. Personnel peu accueillant excepté le monsieur à la réception durant la nuit. Petit déjeuner pas exceptionnel et surtout personne non disponible pendant son service. Pour leur defense, le personnel était peut-être épuisé suite au passage du G7.
