ルレ パラダイス ヴィラ ジャント

We stayed at Hotel Villa Jantò for five days in October. The views are breathtaking, the rooftop and outdoor pool areas are lovely, and there was a small, heated indoor pool. The free hotel shuttle to nearby towns and the beach is convenient, since the hotel sits atop a steep hill and taxis are surprisingly expensive. The room, however, was a letdown. It felt painfully plain, with white walls and nearly zero decoration—odd for a hotel that otherwise tries to look somewhat bohemian and stylish. There were many insects (don’t leave any food out or it will be swarming with ants within hours), an occasional unpleasant smell, and a toilet so noisy you couldn’t flush it at night without waking the whole floor. There was no kettle for making brews, and the toiletries were so minimal we had to buy our own. Even the hand wash disappeared during our stay, leaving us with none to use. The food was the biggest disappointment. Breakfast, aside from pastries, was cold and uninspired (even the eggs). Both dinners we tried were lacking in flavour, the pasta undercooked, and the prices felt high for what was essentially mediocre fare (considering that the hotel mentions using organic produce from their garden), The receptionist was friendly, but the restaurant and bar staff seemed pretty uninterested. In short, Hotel Villa Jantò delivers on views and location, but if you’re hoping for comfortable rooms and decent food, temper your expectations—or prepare to be underwhelmed.

The views are nice and the breakfast is good. The owner is also very kind. Otherwise, our experience here was truly upsetting, not just because of the issues I will list below, but largely because the front desk staff refused to truly acknowledge these issues and admit that they might need to improve some things about their hotel. Every time I spoke with them, they essentially gaslit me, saying that they were sorry and that they believed me but then arguing in such a way that did not at all indicate they cared about our experience or believed what we were saying. I actually cried after my final interaction with them, so exhausted was I of defending my right to voice complaints as a guest and actually feel heard. Here were the issues, in brief: 1) Their outgoing message, at least via Booking, fails to include information about public transit to their hotel, which is high up a hill and not terribly easy to reach. The shuttle they offer also does not pick guests up when they arrive, which should be more clearly stated in their listing 2) The wifi did not function in our room at all. 3 days, zero functionality. 3) The pillows they gave us were not pillows but rather pieces of old fluff stuffed into pillow cases. 4) They do not even use a fitted bedsheet on the bed. 5) The shower door in our room could hardly be opened and closed. Please be advised as well that the hotel is a long walk from other dining options. All in all, it was a poor experience

Beautiful family owned villa that treated all guests as their own. Excellent food, breakfast was amazing each morning overlooking the gulf. Hospitality outstanding! Made reservations for all suggestions, shuttle to to and from town was great. Ischia was amazing and we can’t wait to come back!!!

Really nice place to stay and would definitely re- visit

Nice staff, very nice food and good view. Difficult to get to and from location. Quite expensive in the restaurant and for other kind of service, like extra towels. We had to pay an extra fee for eating in the restaurant(10,50€ for renting the table and the cutlery), even though we were living at the hotel. I think we would have chosen something else if we had known.

I certainly & highly recommend this lovely placeI it was spotless, spacious rooms, and had all the accommodations one can possibly need during an island vacation in italy! Extremely comfortable ammenities, superb location, great food at the restaurant and frindly staff. Will definitively be back!

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich wunderschön! Das Hotel ist größer als gedacht und wir waren in dem hinteren Teil untergebracht. Ein Zimmer mit Terrasse im Keller, mit muffigem Geruch und leider ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Risse in den Wänden, Löcher in der Balkontür… da sollte dringend was gemacht werden. Der Service war toll und alle sind sehr bemüht. Ein Rollenverleih erfolgt über das Hotel, ohne zusätzliche Kosten Kosten 😊 am Wochenende ist die rooftop bar eine eventlocation, dadurch wird es bis in die Nacht sehr laut! Das sollte vom Hotel klarer kommunizieren werden

Our stay at Relais Paradise Villa Jantò was simply magical. The property exudes peace and relaxation, with breathtaking views that make you want to pause and soak in every moment. The breakfast buffet was outstanding — fresh, abundant, with produce from there own garden. The owners clearly pour their heart into this place, and their love for their property is evident in every detail, including the thoughtful touches throughout. The food was consistently amazing, and dining here felt like a true experience. If you are looking for a serene getaway with warm hospitality, stunning scenery, and exceptional cuisine, this is the place to be. Thank you from Montreal, Canada.

Not enough good things to say about Villa Jantò. We chose this spot for the location, kind of away from it all, and planned on using their shuttle service to get around in combination with taxis and the public bus. Which is exactly what we did and it was great. The property itself is beautiful. Bohemian vibes, great restaurant, great service, great people. No frills on the room, which is expected on an Italian island like Ischia, but it was amazing. We would 1000% come back and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you Villa Janto!

L'établissement porte bien son nom pour la vue, vous êtes à flanc de montagne, vue sur le port et la méditerranée, c'est magnifique (voir photo). L'hébergement est petit mais suffisant, nous avions une petite terrasse ouverte donnant sur la mer. Le petit déj extra, sous la forme de buffet avec sucré (pâtisseries et gâteaux) et salé (œuf brouillé maison, saucisse, charcuterie....) rarement vu aussi complet et quali en Italie ! Petit bémol pour les jus, trop sucrés à mon goût. Gros point positif concernant le service de navette gratuite vous menant à Casamicciola, la plage ou lacco ameno plusieurs fois par jour, c'est important car l'hôtel est reculé et la route est étroite pour y aller. Nous n'avions pas de voiture, nous avons tout fait en bus (pas simple au début même avec Google maps, arrêt de bus à 5m de l'hôtel) et en taxi (il y en a partout, comptez 25€ du port à l'hôtel en cash), nous n'avons pas été gêné pour nous déplacer. La piscine est également très sympa avec possibilité de commander boissons et snack, comptez 12€ le cocktail. Nous avons dîner une fois à l'hôtel car il y a rien à moins de 15m à pied (ça grimpe pas mal et c'est très étroit), c'était bon mais assez cher, 21€ le frito misto, 24€ pâtes aux langoustines, vous payez la vue.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff is great, pool is fantastic. The hotel provides scheduled transport to town. All around, great choice for Ischia.
