Friendly service

This was hands down the worst resort I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve traveled the world. Many countries. Never in my life have I been treated with more distain for absolutely no reason than I was from the employees at Azul. They want you not to be there. It’s SUPER clear. Food was AWFUL and nothing was ever open when they claimed it was. They would sit there with food cooked in front of us and literally push the time to open further and further back only to tell us to order room service. Which sometimes never showed up at all. And when it did they’d stand in your doorway shove food at you and put their hands in the door so you couldn’t close it without tipping. Horrible awful customer service. And I say this as probably the least bougie human on earth. We tried so hard to keep smiling and be bubbly and happy and make our own fun. Because there is NO fun to be had here. Walls are paper thin. It’s SO LOUD. beach is beautiful. Lotta drug dealers but they’re actually much nicer than the employees, so, that’s a win. Told us we couldn’t take indoor towels on beach. But we went for 3 days from one beach towel booth to the next without being able to get a beach towel. When I finally went to the front desk to ask they were, as usual, incredibly rude. I honestly could go on for days which is so sad and so not what I expected. RUN DONT WALK! I’ll leave it at that.

Make the room more cleaner

Very disappointing, the experience was horrible , no hot water after a certain time, shared my room with two giant water bugs, most of the staff in particular the women staff are not friendly at all. Furniture in the rooms are old and worn, I gravitated to one young lady at the Buffett so to at least smile while eating my food. Could go on and on, I’ve never felt so good to be home after a vacation. I feel that the pictures on the website are very deceiving, if they would add current pictures of the condition of the hotel and its rooms not very many people would go, at least not for what I paid.

I probably wouldn’t come back to this all inclusive.

Relaxing Stay, But Some Improvements Needed I recently stayed at a school hotel in Jamaica and overall had a relaxing time, especially with the beautiful beachfront—it’s truly the highlight of the property. The views were stunning, the sand was soft, and the water was crystal clear. If you’re looking for a peaceful beach getaway, this place definitely delivers on scenery and tranquility. That said, the hotel could use some updating. The rooms and common areas feel a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh to match the beauty of the surroundings. Another downside was the difficulty in getting pool towels—sometimes they were just not available, which was frustrating. Also, if you want to get a lounge chair on the beach, be prepared to wake up early—by 6 AM, most of them are already claimed. Nightlife is very limited here, so if you’re looking for evening entertainment or a social scene, this may not be the best fit. It’s more suited for those wanting a quiet, low-key experience. Overall, a lovely beach and a peaceful atmosphere, but the property needs better amenities and a bit more attention to detail to really stand out

This property was a great place to just come and relax. We needed a getaway to just be beach bums and this did the job lol! Food was medicore at best but the staff was very nice and accommodating! There are also places outside of the resort where you can get great views and great food!

Beautiful resort will definitely be back.

Everything was great during my trip

It was not 5 Star as suggested. Property great layout. Various pool areas, activities at some of you like, quiet areas if your preference, options of pool swim up rooms. Beach clean , lots of chairs, water boyes for safety, water sports offered. Security on beach. Staff friendly. Building requiring upgrades. Food options limited for dinner.

Convenient

Didn’t like the location of the restaurants and how long you have to wait to get in to be seated. Bathroom towels and supplies were limited. We had to call to get wash clothes, towels and soap. Our concierge was very good.

We greatly appreciated the staff; everyone was friendly and engaged in conversation. The beach with its white sands and inviting Caribbean water is absolutely gorgeous One of the drawbacks was the coffee situation in the early morning. It would have been more convenient to have a pot of coffee made instead of making one cup at a time. Thank you, Azul, for a great holiday!

The beach is beautiful, the staff are great. We had a swim-up room which was really nice.

This is the 2nd time we’ve been here in the last 4 months. The resort is fairly dated but the people, pools and beach make up for it. My husband is disabled and is able to get his mobility scooter around the resort. We book a swim out room in the premium section to ensure the scooter can get in and out of the room. The beach is easy for him to drive yhe scooter down the ramp and push it a few feet to hard pack. Someone with zero mobility would not be able to enjoy the beach unless they built a platform a few feet to get to the hard pack. Great vacation.
