The beach was nice. The pools were nice. The food was good. The staff was nice.

Everyone was friendly and helpful especially our room attendant.

Majority of staff was friendly and fun! Taxi service at the hotel is not part of the hotel staff and they were a bit rude and expensive. Recommend to book travel to and from airport ahead of time. Activities and music during the day were great! Lots of great entertainment at night. Housekeeping was awesome and will change sheets and towels every single day if you ask them to. Beautiful property! Food was good. However, part of the restaurants were outside…and on our 2nd to last day we saw cockroaches on the outside table and inside the buffet on the counter. I made staff aware and they got it everything cleaned up but then it happened again the next day. Thankfully that day we were leaving and didn’t have to see that again. Also, I got stung by a jellyfish, really minor sting, but the beach should have signs that jellyfish may be present in waist deep water close to shore.

Loved the all inclusive vacation package. The hotel facilities were, in general, clean and well maintained. There was quite a bit of afternoon rain so there were wet areas around the building steps that made walking hazardous. It would be good to look at elevator options for each building to allow easier access for residents needing a safer balance.

Very clean- spacious- excellent service from the Staff- 1- It should have another Pool 2- the 24 hour Food stand - too poor of selection- not even French fries- 3 Hours in the afternoon that this is the only option to get food from and the options are popcorn and chips and not much more

Property is beautiful, staff was amazing. Staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed. My charger broke and I tried to buy a replacement at the gift shop but they didn't have the one I needed. The front desk staff offered to charge for me. Great customer service!!!

This was my second time visiting the property. I can honestly say I will be staying here each time I come.

Our 3rd time to Jamaica and 2nd visit to this resort. Beautiful beach and water. All the staff are excellent. My wife and I even had our first couples massage which was amazing. Food is all good with plenty of options. Jerk Chicken at the Jerk Hut was our go to lunch. Loved all the various drink options at the bars. We stuck mainly to the cocktails. Our only complaint is we had to leave. We will be back again. We love Jamaica.

Most of the staff were very hospitable. Andrew in dining room was very professional, polite and gave excellent service. I overheard one staff member being rude to a guest pushing him to leave a tip at the jerk hut. Some of the room receptacles dont work properly. Hand shower holder is broken.Bathroom mirror needs to be replaced. Room generally ok but somewhat dated.

I had the most amazing and safe first solo trip at RIU Palace Negril! ❤️✨ The hotel itself is really nice — clean, comfortable, and a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The staff were truly amazing and made me feel at home from start to finish — especially the bar team, who kept the drinks flowing, the vibes up, and made sure I was smiling and comfortable the whole time. 🍹🎉 One thing I noticed was there wasn’t as much traditional Jamaican food as I hoped for on the menu — I would’ve liked to see a bit more of that rich, local flavor — but everything else was great. As a woman traveling by myself for the first time, I felt completely safe and well cared for, which meant I could really let go, appreciate the moment, and make memories that I’ll carry with me forever. Thank you, RIU Palace Negril, for a wonderful first solo adventure — I’ll definitely be back! 🌟✨

Usually the Riu palace have better selection of drinks, the hotel it’s fine but some employees are rude, the beach it’s amazing and clean.

Access to a beautiful beach was excellent. The biggest issue with this hotel was the buffet food which was extremely disappointing. Evening buffet was completely uninspiring - no flow to how the food was laid out, poor signage for items - everything was not labelled, signage was small font, difficult to read with bad lighting, generally food was unappealing - dried out, greasy Short staffed behind key buffet areas causing line ups, roast beef on carving station was substandard with a large piece of gristle through the centre, should never have been served. Jerk Hut - 20 minute delays with no meat during lunch hour, only offered chicken on the day I went there. Could not get a fresh cooked hamburger, the buffet burgers were disgusting. Steak House dinner was the best meal of the entire stay. Guestroom was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful

The property was clean, food was good and catered for jamaicans . Villas room was spacious, modern and clean overall the stay was excellent and i definitely recommend the resort and go back next time im in that area

Rooms are exactly as shown. Food and drinks are great. From our experience, some buffet items do not get replenished. Fruit was one of the key factors. Since fruit is local produce. Coffee shop does not open until 1000. Why? Only self serve coffee machine at 24:7 service cafeteria.All Pools close at 6pm. Besides these small intricacies. Local food at buffet is great. Mostly same items daily. Jerk hut chicken is amazing. Bartenders are great at making all kinds of drinks. Rum is their specialty. Bob Marley, Dirty Banana, Jamaican Smile.. to name a few. The resort is well kept and maintained. Night entertainment was good. The beach is beautiful and calm. Made for a nice tranquil stay.

The food was amazing!! Only problem I had was the steak was fresh, but otherwise they did an amazing job with the rest of food options. The drinks they kept flowing!! Love that
