I chose this property because I wanted peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Montego Bay and it definitely delivered on that! The grounds were tranquil and the staff respected our space, which we appreciated. After arriving from the airport, the kitchen even allowed us to have a quick snack before dinner, which was a nice touch. We loved keeping our Stanley cups filled the whole trip, and we used the free shuttle to Legends for beach time, which was really enjoyable. However, we did find the cost of taxi rides pretty steep most places charged at least $100 USD one way, which made exploring a bit pricey. Next time, I’ll likely choose a resort closer to the attractions with more on-site amenities. We anticipated seeing the live band on thursday but there was no band. We were told it changed to Friday. The all-inclusive option was okay, though drink choices were limited to juice and water unless you purchased from the menu. Also, a tip: if you take food back to your room, be sure to eat and discard the trash quicklyants can become an issue. All in all, a peaceful stay that served its purpose, but a few lessons learned for next time!

The place didnt have washcloths only bath towels that was upsetting, the food was good, housekeeping never cleaned our room the whole time we was there and we stayed Wednesday- Sunday the live band was good but ill never stay again

The exterior of the property is beautiful, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The rooms are clean and well maintained. While an update to the linens and furnishings would enhance the experience, overall it’s a pleasant stay — especially considering the price.

No Frills, but VERY clean and absolutely the best place to stay in Negril! It’s quiet, there are resident cats, lots of privacy, trees growing bananas & coconuts in the courtyard and we were able to take the free shuttle to the sister resort to spend time on the beach. We preferred to stay right in the Samsara mostly during our stay though and we hired private taxis to go to other places like the blue hole, YS Falls and Dunns River. Towels and basic bedding is supplied at the samsara, but you need to bring your own shampoo:). The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff is very kind. Don’t forget to tip well!!

Pros: beautiful stone work all over Beautiful pool overlooking the cliffs off the carribean sea. Hotel is at a curve in the road so there is always a security or staff member outside to help with crossing the street or parking - which was very helpful for us. Rooms clean and AC air wt Sea view Food excellent. Homemade style Staff are super friendly, kind and very nice. Front desk staff was so welcoming and always greeted us with smiles. Staff with impeccable service was Patricia and Kimiko in the dining room and Dorothy (dinnertime chef) AND Marcia and Tina in the bar. They were absolutely amazing in the service. The hotel does have a second building which looks very upgraded. Not sure if they are suites or just diff type of rooms. We were in a king size room. Cons: The outside of the hotel needs maintenance and lots of upgrades. Cob webs are low hanging and get in your hair quite a few times When walking around the grounds. Because the hotel is located on the cliffs there is no sand n beach. However, their sister hotel (5 mins drive - Legends) - is located on Seven Mile white sandy beach) -- The hotel also has installed steps and ladders for you to jump in the ocean. Keep in mind that it's in the very deep end of the ocean so must be a strong swimmer. There are a lot of stairs throughout the hotel to go from the front desk to the rooms, down to the pool and up the stairs to the restaurant. Definitely not wheelchair friendly or for those with limited mobility.

Wonderful location, great room. We had a Vuz room on the ground floor right by the infinity pool! Awesome views! Staff were lovely. I was very impressed and will definitely return!

Extremely friendly staff but I wouldn’t go back even for half the price. Cockraches in the room, ants in the plate to mention a few. Got food poisoning on day 3. Beautiful beach at legends resort would be the only positive I would remember. Overpriced for what was being offered

Samsara is a hidden gem in Westside Negril on the cliffs. Great location, great people, and safe. The room has the best view of the ocean, is clean, and modern. Will goback in a heartbeat.

The staff and food where food, unfortunately there were roaches on the bedroom

If you need a big fancy “secret” style resort, then this place is not for you -we like the smaller boutique style resort and this place was perfect for us. The staff was amazing and paid special attention to every need. Tina, Patricia, chef Georgia and Kimeiko as well as the grounds keeper(didn’t get his name) all went above and beyond. By the time you leave this beautiful place you will be hugging them goodbye. If you’re fortunate enough to go on vacation, please show these people respect and give them a gratuity, they deserve it.

Staff was great and very friendly and food was excellent not a lot to choose from but everything was really good. Would stay there again

The cliff, pool, sunset balcony view from my room and overall property grounds were beautiful. The staff were down to earth and friendly. The food was ok, but theres is also a very spicy, but good jerk chicken restaurant around the corner and a decent grocery store not too far away. My favorite part of my stay was the spectacular pruvate beach 12 mintues away which the resort offered a complimentary shuttle. Bed was comfortable but bathroom was not clean. Besides the lack of security, I had an overall relaxing stay.

The hotel is not updated, so if you’re looking for a Ritzy place this is not it! I used my room for a place to store my things, wash up, and sleep. Spend your time exploring! Excellent customer service!

Samsara staff were exceptional Home style meals were very plentiful and delicious. The only thing we didn’t like was that my wife, who has a walking disability, found it hard to get around The resort is beautiful but built with slopes and ramps, but that was on us for not looking into these conditions beforehand
