The unsanitary no water situation is ridiculous. The first 3 days, no water for a shower. You could not flush the toilets. I had to demand them bring gallon jugs of dirty water. So we can flush the toilet. I got 3 showers. In 10 days I dn't know what's going on in Negril ll but it's getting ridiculous. No clean towels no clean sheets and nobody has an answer don't think you or Jamaica cares i could never take a guest there a beautiful section of beach totally neglected

Love the property but restaurant/bar was shut down, and air conditioning broke down for a few days. Staff is great!

Great property and very private

We loved it. I recommend it.

No fridge, no coffee pot, no water. bar and restaurant was closed. Uncomfortable bed, no mattress pad under the sheet.

Very relaxed

Chill spot, nothing extravagant, yet comfortable. Excellent service from the employees I met during my stay. I had an issue with confirming - received a confirmation # - my stay via Expedia and thereafter getting it cancelled because someone walked in booked a room. The management at XYE made arrangements and eventually secured me a room. Please and thanks!

If you just want a place to shower and sleep, then this hotel is just fine. The hotel definitely needs some upgrades. Cob webs in the room indicating that the room is not thoroughly cleaned. The towels were stained, making it impossible to know if they were actually clean or not. There is only 1 microwave in the Kitchenette room, if you have not booked that room you have no access to a microwave. I went 1 night with no water because the security guard did not know how to switch over the water tank and had no one to assist him. The staff was very nice and helpful doing what they could do, however the issues are not their fault. I loved that there is a private beach and that you can order light food if you choose as there is a kitchen and bar on the property. I would probably stay here again, but I would love for them to just clean the rooms properly and provide clean towels that are not stained. They did provide beach towels as well and I loved that. All in all, it was an enjoyable stay. The price was also excellent.

Great experience! Right on the beach. The walls are a bit thin and we could hear our neighbors clearly, but besides that everything was great and for a good price! They have a bar to get drinks from and cabanas on the beach to relax on the amazing 7 mile beach. They also have a lifeguard on site, Chris, who was amazing! He gave us great recommendations and honestly became a friend during our stay. Definitely would be back!

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Room was very clean & comfortable. Would have appreciated more food & beverage choices. Water issue may not be their fault .

I honestly felt like it was just a place to rest my head. The parking was limited. Limited and unfriendly staffing with no welcome or bell service. No phone in the room, no cable on the TV. No latch to close the door on the inside. The restaurant and bar were closed for the entire stay. The restroom/ changing room after coming from the beach were locked. It almost felt like I was begging to stay there. I usually don’t do reviews but this one has been my worst experience staying on the 7 Mile Beach Strip. Do not recommend.

Sheets and curtains were crushed. Staff left early, water pressure was low, hot water wasn't very hot, AC wasn't cool.

Outside of the staff, the hotel is a "no bueno". Upon arrival, the internet was not initially working & the staff was leaving for the day. The staff stayed behind to ensure that the wifi was working properly. There is no front desk staff after hours, just security. The water pressure is a "no bueno". We reside in Mandeville, Jamaica, therefore we know when the water pressure is low and the water pump needs to be turned on. The water pump was turned off due to no electrical power running to it, even when turned on & this occurred on a Saturday night after hours when there was no front desk staff. We rented 3 rooms & in one of the rooms, the smoke detector went off all night & had to be endured all night. The next morning, there was no staff on site to disable the smoke detector so my brother took it down. There is an advertisement (signage) for breakfast/lunch but there is no menu & per the staff, the food items on the premises had to be pre-ordered in advance of booking, which is false advertisement, we recommend that the sign be removed. We ate at other hotels. The toilets in the rooms kept running all night & produced hot water. The shower takes FOREVER to produce hot water & when it did, the cold water could not cool it down because only scalding hot water came out instead. I would NOT recommend this hotel except for the hotel staff hence why any stars was given at all.

The staff are my new friends now and will be staying again next year.

Friendly hardworking staff I do wish they had a better stocked bar as well as a full restaurant and music on a daily basis

Arriving at the property, we couldn't get our luggage down the pathway. 2x2 patio stones with a 2" gap between them of overgrown grass, made it impossible to roll our luggage to the picnic table that was the check in. Computers were shut down, we received an envelop with our key in it. There was only 1 security guard to receive us, who was 18 and didn't care. Would NOT recommend.
