The hotel is very charming, and exceptionally clean. There are many restaurants and shops near by the hotel. Extremely convenient area with the bus and train station a few minutes away, to get to the various attractions.

Didn’t have an opportunity to visit the restaurant so can’t share a review on the dining. However, the bed comfort and room was superb. Great use of space planning for the room. Everything a traveler would need.

The room was absolutely incredible and the amenities were fantastic.
Although we visited in summer and the heat was extreme, the rooftop onsen was still a highlight.
Sitting up there while looking up at the Hakone mountains was an unforgettable experience.
Hotel is smal and intimate and we very highly recommend dining at the restaurant for an incredible sushi experience.

Teníamos habitación con onsen privado y fue una experiencia increíble. Hotel muy moderno y gran atención por parte del personal. Añadir que tienen un restaurante de sushi omakase el cual recomiendo sin ninguna duda. Lugar para repetir.

We had the best time here. The hotel room was spacious and clean and the private onsen was amazing each night after miles of walking and hiking. If we ever come back to Hakone we would definitely stay here. Perfect location. Easy walk from the train and the hotel held our luggage before checkin so we could explore a bit.

Loved our experience at this hotel- we only stayed one night but wished we stayed longer! We booked the room that has a rooftop hot tub and it was absolutely perfect l. Beds were comfortable, room had tatami mat, and the hot tub was very private, also always full of fresh hot water! We look forward to returning one day!

Gorgeous accommodation in a beautiful area of Hakone, easy access to Hakone-Yumoto station for the bus and train services, and absolutely lovely staff. Room came with a private onsen bath and excellent amenities, highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay in Zagakukan in Hakone. We were celebrating our honeymoon, and the staff made our visit very special, with best service and nice bedding in the room! Unforgettable and the private onsen on tre rooftop was amazing! Highly recommend 2 nights in this hotel.

Absolutes Top Hotel! Wir waren sehr früh da und könnten daher noch nicht einchecken. Allerdings wurden unsere Koffer bis zum Check in aufbewahrt. Als wir dann eingecheckt hatten waren wir überrascht, dass unsere Koffer sogar schon aufs Zimmer gebracht wurden. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr sehr geräumig und hatte alles was das Herz begehrt inklusive Privatonsen! Absolut Empfehlenswert!
