露天風呂に入れなかったのは残念でした。ご飯は美味しゅうございました。

設備もとても綺麗で、お風呂も共用風呂のほかに貸切露天風呂もあり、快適に過ごすことができました。会席料理もとても美味しくて、ぜひまた食べに行きたいです。 夜、旅館のまわりを散歩したのですが、暗い中にいくつもの旅館が連なっている景色が素敵でした。上高地や新穂高ロープウェイへのアクセスも非常によく、観光しやすい場所だったので、また利用したいです。 旅館の皆様にたくさんお心遣いいただき、とてもいい旅行になりました。

独特な貸切温泉が面白かったです。

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Ryokan Sansui! Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch das Essen war ein Highlight - klassisch japanisch mit vielen kleinen Gerichten in einem privaten Raum. Auch die Onsen waren super und da wenig Gäste da waren, haben wir immer direkt eine privates Onsen bekommen. Wir können das Hotel zu 100 Prozent empfehlen und auch wenn es ein bisschen abgelegen ist (der Bus zur nächsten Bushaltestelle fährt alle 2 Stunden und mit der 15 Minuten entfernten Bushaltestelle ist es insgesamt einmal pro Stunde), lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall herzukommen! In dem kleinen Dorf gibt es nur sehr wenige Läden, aber wer wegen Ruhe und Entspannung hier ist kommt voll auf seine Kosten.

We had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Sansui. The hospitality was truly exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our visit. We especially loved the traditional atmosphere of the ryokan, which made the experience feel very authentic and relaxing. The onsen was a highlight of our stay—peaceful, clean, and a perfect way to unwind after a day of travel. Everything felt thoughtfully maintained, and the overall ambiance was calm and serene. This was a memorable experience, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a traditional Japanese stay. O quarto era limpo, os futons confortáveis. No quarto havia amenidades como chá, água quente e biscoitos..Os funcionários eram muito atenciosos e simpáticos, usando inclusive google translator para melhor nos atender.

We enjoyed our stay in Ryokan Sansui. The view from our room is breath taking and the private bath is so relaxing. I also tried their public onsen and it was complete with amenities. Both me and my partner felt so pampered. The dinner and breakfast provided are delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Établissement traditionnel bien qu’on ait l’impression que l’ensemble du village soit resté figé dans les années 70, cela m’a personnellement inspiré un village abandonné comme pourrait l’être prypiat après chernobyl! Le onsen, super expérience, il doit certainement y avoir mieux cependant. La chambre, pour la pièce principale, super, mais pour la portion WC / douche, on attend pas ça du tout d’une prestation aussi chère! De l’urine séchée sur les toilettes, et l’odeur d’urine en prime, je n’aime pas du tout! Et ça mérite une grande rénovation pour exiger des tarifs de la sorte. Pour le repas, énormément de travail, tant pour le petit déjeuner que le dîner, mais notre palais n’y étais pas au rendez vous. Se donner autant de mal pour que tout ait le même goût de fumé de poisson seché, c’est bien dommage. Le personnel est très accueillant, mais très peu d’échange hors japonais.

The property is run down and food is not good.

Amazing spot. The ryokan is run by a very kind family. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the mountain views from there were impressive. Also, the dinner was unforgettable and delicious. We wish we could have stayed a bit longer to enjoy the beautiful area.

We had a wonderful 4-day, 3-night stay at Ryokan Sansui and truly enjoyed every moment. The ryokan has a very traditional Japanese atmosphere—an old wooden building full of character, beautifully maintained, clean, and well cared for. It feels authentic and calming, exactly what you hope for in a classic ryokan. After skiing during the day, the indoor and outdoor onsen were incredibly relaxing. Soaking in the hot spring in the cold winter air was one of the highlights of our trip and the perfect way to unwind each evening. The ryokan is also very kid-friendly, which we really appreciated while traveling with our toddler. All the staff were exceptionally kind, patient, and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make our child feel comfortable. That warmth made a big difference for us as a family. We stayed on a half-board plan, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a wide variety of beautifully prepared dishes. Over the course of our stay, we enjoyed Hida beef in different styles, including shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, and nikuyaki—each one delicious and thoughtfully presented. Overall, Ryokan Sansui offers a perfect blend of traditional charm, comfort, great food, and heartfelt hospitality. It’s an ideal place to relax, especially after outdoor activities, and we would happily return again.

The staff was so hospitable and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was the best we ate in Japan, and cooked with love. The outdoor onsen was heavenly. A visit I will never forget.

Outstanding service, we had a pleasant stay with

The hosts are very kind and considerate and we had a nice stay in a traditional Japanese style room with very authentic Japanese meals for dinner and breakfast. The hotel is perhaps a little dated but it added to the charm and it is very clean. We didn’t get to try the outdoor onsen as we had hoped as we were put off but a large spider other guests alerted us to. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay.

Super!!! Everyrhings OK...Execept outside ryogan. Outside bathtob was closed. However, great experience and nice meals. Thanks.
