the Kinta Naeba

5min walk to South Gate of Naeba. It is highly recommended to have dinner at the hotel because there is No restaurant within walking distance. Room is Japanese style with cozy facilities. If you stay at Tower building, you can enjoy outside bath with a Ski grand view.

For the amount we paid for the room, the amenities are not really up to the standard in Japan.

The hot bath is very hot, no one can stay in for more than 5 mins. During snowy night, the snow truck to clear the road will keep you awake all night. The old Mr Kinta tries all his way to charge you a few hundred Yen here and there while the young Mr Kinta is more honest and did not over charge us. Ski and Snowboard equipment is cheaper but certainly condition is poor. Witnessed the binding of a ski broken from another visitor. The hardware itself is decent. It is 15 mins walk from the Prince resort where the ski lifts are. If you can, rent the Price hotel directly.

Kinta and his family are very great hosts. The breakfast every morning was a delight. Evening dinner meals were even better. A very warm and cozy hotel. A great little bar area. Very good rental gear. All in all an absolutely top hotel experience. 10 out of 10! We would highly recommend staying at Kinta Naeba.
