From check-in thru check out I can not express enough the professionalism, family friendly staff. Rooms were well kept throughout. Even after a long day out in tge Meru National Forest the welcome back definitely felt true and sincere. Room value was excellent, Staff exceptional and restaurant bar far exceeded most Kenyan experiences. My family and I will definitely be back!

A lovely oasis of calm in Meru. This was my second stay here. Great service . The only things to improve would be the pool looked a bit green and cloudy. Also to have a continental breakfast option that would allow you to pay slightly less for not having the cooked breakfast . But the food and choices were excellent . Staff v friendly and helpful as always.

A very comfortable stay in upcountry Kenya. Easy to relax, easy to hangout with cosmopolitan cuisine. Who knew? Stylish though not as much as it’s Nairobi sibling the Social House.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alba. The staff were very helpful and the service was excellent. The meals were delicious. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Meru.

Happily surprised to find this gem of a hotel tucked into this African city. Charming and beloved in just one visit. Food was some of the best we've eaten in Africa and very reasonably priced. Excellent service. Did not have to wait long to receive it.

The staff were very friendly, it was very clean and safe. We would definitely stay again. The pool area and gardens were v relaxing.

The facility is very well presented, the bar area is very nice and has TV for sport, restaurant is very clean and light, I ate in the bar area from the restaurant menu - (pork chops) absolutely superb Its the first time I have stayed there and for me I would highly recommend, even the ben was warmed with a hot water bottle Well done to the team at Alba

Food was great! Room service was quick and tasty! Room was new and very clean! Hot water bottle delivered right before bed time! I would stay here again! I saw where they are building one in Nairobi and I will stay there!

We have stayed before and the hotel is excellent.

We missed our first night there due to mechanical breakdown. But when we finally got there we found the hotel to be very nice. The restaurant offered very good food and a nice selection on the menu. Internet and TV both worked. The only problem we had was that when we got there, they required a PIN number to use a credit card (a problem we found everywhere in Africa). So, we took advantage of their wifi in their lobby and made an online reservation. Which was immediately accepted. We stayed there overnight before venturing on to Meru National Park. We probably could have driven on to Meru that day but my girlfriend was feeling sick so I insisted that we stay there so she could rest. It turned out to be a very good choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an hotel in the Meru area.
