The staff were absolutely delightful. Had a wonderful time with amazing food. Also did a lake trip with a very informative guide. Would come back again in a heartbeat.

Amazing place. My Dad had a good time. It was a nice stay as it was a treat for the easter season. The staff were accomadating due to late check in and kindly agreed for Dad to check out late and have lunch the next day which was a nice gesture. Will recommend the lodge. Worth a visit for singles, couples or families.

Ontzettend fijn hotel waarbij de service ongeëvenaard is. We werden enorm in de watten gelegd. De buffetten waren zeer uitgebreid, smaakvol en goed gekruid. Aanrader: maak een boottocht met een bioloog. Leuk en leerzaam!

The trip overall was really great, however there are both some good and bad things that stood out. The good… The food at all meals was EXCELLENT! Compliments to the chef we were pleased at every single meal. The service from the wait staff was also really good. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The pool area and overall entertainment were good along with the gym. There are lots of activities to do which can keep everyone entertained. Including a nature walk to the lake. The bad… Check in was unpleasant as the room description on Hotels.com was different to Saw Els’s own description. This was sorted out but it made the process poor. The game room needs to be updated as most of the items were either broken or missing pieces.

Good and staff were exceptional

The gym has been converted to a conference room with covid as the excuse. But the pool remains open. So long as the conference facilities keep bringing the hotel revenue, there is no incentive to re-open the gym. Wish they had communicated that the gym facilities weren't available before booking.

Our stay was super! Staff were professional and friendly. Facilities were good - the manicured lawn was especially welcoming. Meals were good with safety precautions being observed at all times. PS. Brewed coffee rather than instant would have been preferred.

Sehr angenehme, ruhige Lodge. Unbedingt den Naturewalk mit Guide Joakim machen, man sieht einiges an Tieren (Giraffen, Zebras,... )…! Viele einheimische Gäste, tolle Atmosphäre, sehr gutes Essen und idealer Urlaubseinstieg!

Sehr nettes Personal. Man soll unbedingt mit Josef eine Safari machen.

Staff are friendly and professional, especially waiting staff at meal times. Grounds are beautiful, lots of place to sit and relax. Buildings look nice from outside. All good things undermined by state of furnishings in room. Damp, musky, mouldy smell from curtains, rugs, and bed. Mosquito net dirty. Towels and dressing gown clearly needed replacing about five years ago. Seriously, good hotel if they could invest in comfort of guests by cleaning room furnishings properly (i.e. before they smell and make people cough, sneeze etc). Better options nearby. Food was good though.

It is a wonderful place! Very beautiful! Reception service was very disappointing. We went in before two and we were checked in after 5pm and they wanted us out by 10am the next day! We asked for a late check out and after back and fourth they finally agreed. Breakfast service was done by 9.30am! what happened to usual hours of 11am? I guess its their policy but we are there on holiday so it would only be fair to eat breakfast later. The porter was kind and respectful. The lady watchman at the second barrier was very welcoming and sweet. I would return, I hope the team at reception can be more accommodating next time.

Loved it. The food was very nice and the facilities are modern. The staff are polite. Security is good. Located about an hour and a half drive from Nairobi so it is convinent

Overall was good. The grounds were appealing. In our room the bathroom needed work. The water that filled the bathtub was dirty. The water in the sink was dirty. The faucets need to be updated.
