熱帯モンバサも朝夕は涼しいのだがホテルの部屋は灼熱地獄でクーラーは全く効いていない と言うかクーラーから熱風が あまりに暑いので裸で寝るしかないが裸でも眠れない暑さだった モンバサもホテルの部屋の暑さ以外はいかが 部屋の中の暑さは最悪

長旅の途中で疲れをとるのに最適。なんといっても植民地時代の初期の建物なので風格があります。ここに着くとほっとします。８月４～６日、１０日と４泊しました。部屋は十分な広さがあり、落ち着けます。７日の朝は６時に出発と慌ただしかったのですが、頼むとちゃんと６時前に朝食を用意していただけました。１０日に泊まった部屋はトイレの便器から水漏れがあったのが、ちょっと残念でした。スタッフは皆フレンドリーで、テラスでの食事も美味しかったです。

部屋に置いていた荷物の一部が盗難にあいました。セキュリティ管理を疑います。地球の歩き方には高級と分類されていたのに。他の人も同日盗難にあったようです。

Excellent property within easy distance of Fort Jesus and Old Town,even easier if you grab a nearby tuktuk for a 200 ksh ride. Aircon was powerful, wifi reliable, front desk reception was welcoming and easy, buffet breakfast had many options of Kenyan, Indian and English. Felt welcome, safe, and comfortable. Recommended for those who want to stay in Mombasa Town.

Wonderful character and knowledgeable, professional staff

Rooms were clean, really appreciate the quiet AC and clean comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly checking in and at the restaurant. And the security guards at the door were really helpful pointing me to a bank and guiding me to a fantastic taxi to the airport.

Good property but needs upgrade n renovation.

The property is old need restoration n upgrade. The back of the property building is next to some night club noisy on the weekends. But, the staff was nice to move me to the front of the property.

The hotel is a remarkable building and has a nice athmosphere. The bathroom is a bit dated but the rooms are spacious and well equiped. The staff is great and really friendly.

My shower did not work and front desk did nothing to resolve the problem

The stay was comfortable and the staff were cooperative. As it was in city area, i could able to visit our business related activity without delays.

Un hôtel historique,le seul bon hôtel à être ouvert en juillet 2022 dans le centre de Mombassa. Sa terrasse n’a pas changé depuis la construction de l’hôtel.Un hôtel mythique.

Good central location to explore Mombasa island. Needs some modernisation.

Very convenient location with a sense of history. The property is getting tired and needs some renovation. It is good value and I will continue to stay there when I visit Mombasa.

The Sentrim Castle Royal Hotel is an historic place in Mombasa. Unfortunately, as castle, is breaking in pieces, and for the royal, there is nothing remaining of what it could have been. I got a room in the five floor extension built without lift !!! but was kindly moved to the old building, with a lift, but where an exhausted AC heates more than cooles the room. One of the features of these old building or new extension rooms are their dirty walls, including spots of mosquitos the clients crushed, sometimes blood included. The furniture is old, the curtains are dusty. I only got one towel in my room, for all purposes, body, hands and floor. The cold water faucet was broken and the shower water jet got no pressure, just kind of dropping ... For unknown reasons the hotel stills holds two stars and I was charged 100 USD, a scam !!! I was also charged for a cappucino I got instead of my breakfast. It is not a consolation, but the staff was nice.
