If breakfast is included, you have to order from the staff the night before. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and understanding. Overall a great experience.

Clean and basic guesthouse with lovely mountain views. The beds were very firm. Abbay was an excellent host - very responsive to all our questions before and during the trip. He also arranged a fantastic day tour to three jar sites as well as the old capital and the spoon and noodle village I would highly recommend!

Sipanya Guesthouse was the perfect place to stay to explore the Plain of Jars sites and Phonsavan area! It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Thank you to the staff who were all so kind and helpful! Also I hope you find homes for all the puppies born last night :)

Rummet är stort och rent. Allting fungerar. WiFi och AC som är det viktigaste jämte dusch och toalett. Bra frukost. Det är inte en självklarhet på alla guesthouse och enklare hotell. Sedan jag var här för drygt ett år sedan har guidade turer tillkommit. Guiden mr Souk är väldigt kunnig, pratar bra engelska och är väldigt humoristisk också. Personalen är mycket hjälpsamma och vänliga. Ett exempel är att jag glömde laddaren till mobilen. Nästa dag kunde jag hämta upp den på Vientiens flygplats. Flygpost med lokalt flyg. 55.000 KIP kostade det mig att hämta den. Totalt sett ett boende med ett mycket högt värde för pengarna. Roland Jakobsson

Virkelig hjælpsomt personale, gode muligheder for guidet turer. De gør alt for dig som gæst. Som rygsæksrejsende var det virkelig skøn indretning af værelse, med mulighed for ophængning og fra lægning af tøj. Min vameste anbefalet til stedet.

The hotel and staff were amazing. It’s basic accommodations but everything was perfect. Breakfast came with fresh fruit and delicious crusty bread.

Nice and clean

The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the guesthouse was in a quiet, beautiful location where you could look out and see the mountains and a water buffalo in a field below. It was a very short walk to the main street where one could find places to eat and ATMS. Mr Souk, our English speaking guide who works at the guesthouse, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, the Plain of Jars, and we really appreciated getting to know him, and especially appreciated his willingness to share the personal experiences of his grandfather during the war in Laos in the 1960s to 1970s. We shared a jam packed 2 days with him, where we saw and experienced so many things. He also provided us pick up and drop off at the airport. Highly recommend seeking out Mr Souk! The breakfasts provided were massive and delicious. Please try the rice porridge. Very good and filling!

Friendly staff, good breakfast, great shower, comfy bed

The owner was amazing, responsive and helpful w recommendations & reservations. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Hot water was great after a dusty day on the local roads. Only complaint was the wifi little to no signal the whole ti.e we were there - but they did state they were working on it.

I liked the tour with Souk very much!

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was basic but spotless. My upgraded room had unlimited hot water but a smaller water heater in the basic room was useless. The beds were on the hard side, pillows too large for my liking and I had to ask for TP every second day for 7 days. Finally, the property’s numerous dogs and at least one rooster provided a reliable alarm clock from around 2 am to sunrise.

Sipanya Guesthouse was a real find- the property was spotlessly clean, the room was comfortable and breakfast in the hotel was excellent. Our host Abe was absolutely wonderful. He picked us up at the bus station and made us feel very welcome. We also booked a full day tour of the Plain of Jars and other nearby sights with Abe - it was a great experience. He was knowledgeable, and gave a very full informative tour in English.

The owner ensures a very high standard for guests to stay. The bedsheets are clean. The outdoor areas are esthetic with nice environment. Nice place to stay if you are visiting the plain of jars. Free pickups. Highly recommended to stay if you are around Phonsavan,Laos.

The area is very quiet and nice. Staffs are very friendly and always there for us. They are able to communicate both in English and Laotian. I been there for 10 days and will love to go back to same hotel again. Keep up the good work.

We have stayed at Sipanya Guesthouse for three nights. We were picked up at the airport and driven directly to the guest house by the very friendly owner Abey. During our stay he organized and drove us for two full day tours in and around Phonsavan. He really gave us a deep insight into Lao Living and Culture. We got to see all the highlights of the region. In addition, we had homemade Lao breakfast every morning One evening, when we had finished dinner in town, the guest house picked us up as the rain poured down. All in all a pleasant stay

Guesthouse Sipanya was almost like a family stay. They take care of every need in a personal way. Rooms were clean and complete. I highly recommend taking the very reasonable day tours offered by the Guesthouse. Mr. Souk us a warm and intelligent guide who spoke excellent English.
