The location is wonderful if you want to have a relaxing vacation away from the dust of the city. It is rather far, and tuktuk drivers are trying to charge ridiculous rates (150,000 kip for the 7 km trip!). Make sure you call ahead and arrange pick-up to avoid difficulties when you arrive. The proprietor was very kind and accommodating. The facilities were very clean and pleasant, but they could stand just a bit of attention to maintenance in the rooms (eg. our door wouldn't lock properly, the screens were torn, the towel racks in the bathroom had come down, etc.). Nothing major, just little details. The highlights of the place were the beautiful river view (and swimming!) and the excellent food in the restaurant. We had a lovely visit, and I would strongly recommend this hotel for a quiet get-away.

Lovely setting next to the Nam Song river. Wonderful views of the mountains, paddy fields. Soothing sounds of the river, birds and insects. Ideal place to relax and reflect. Very helpful and friendly staff. The host Mr Praphan very hospitable and knowledgeable. The Thai food is excellent. A great place for a holiday.

라오스는 동남아이고, 굉장히 못사는 국가임을 고려해봤을 때 충분히 청결하고 친절하며 시설도 괜찮다고 생각함. 다만 시내로부터 거리가 은근히 멂. 대신 주인 아저씨가 시내로 계속 태워다 주셨음! 짱!!

Very reasonably priced hotel with nice rooms and also tent accomodation . It is a wee way from town but the owner is a REALLY fabulous and helpful guy.

Totally enjoyed my stay here. If you want to get away from noisy downtown Vang Vieng this is your choice. Owner and staff extremely friendly and helpful. They even pick you up from and bring you to VV, so the 4km distance is no problem at all. Try the rice soup for breakfast! Lodge was built two years ago, everything is new and well taken care of.
