キングサイズの一番狭い部屋にしましたが、十二分に広かったです。天井が高いので開放感あります。利用者は欧米人が殆どで、イスラムの国には珍しく部屋に聖書があります。フレンドリーで良く気がつくホテルマン。部屋は清潔で、アメニティも十分です。ウォーターフロート沿いの部屋は羨望。クチンのホテルではよく出現するアリも全くいません。また、部屋の掃除も朝食中に素早くやってくれるので助かりますし、いつも綺麗にベッドメイクしてくれました。朝食は日替わりで三種のメインから選べる他、パンやコーンフレーク等も用意されていますが、メインの量が多いので、朝からお腹一杯になります。ウォーターフロートのイベント会場正面にあるので、何らかのイベントをしているときは割と五月蝿い時もありますが、23時には静かになります。ホテル内は部屋の出入りくらいで、他の部屋からの騒音はありません。デメリットはエレベーターが中2階〜2階までしかなく、1階〜中2階、2階〜上層階は階段のみで、バリアフリーではありません。(部屋はバリアフリーです)。ラウンジに新聞が一部しかない事、部屋のエアコンの風がベッドに直撃して、風が当たり続けてかなり疲労しました。また、コンセントが少ない事(2つ)、ベッドサイドにコンセントがない、演出だと思いますが部屋全体が暗いなど。致命的な欠点はエアコンくらいですが、雰囲気はちょっと良いオシャレな旅館なイメージです。チェックイン時に300RMのデポジットが必要で、現金とカードで支払いします。チェックアウト時に10RM/dayの宿泊税を差し引いて返金されます。

2016年8月6～7日にクチン観光で利用しました。 全体的に清潔で整っており、スタッフの感じも良く、総じて快適に滞在することができました。

Very clean spacious rooms with some sophisticated antique tastes here and there. What is more noteworthy is that exceptionally friendly staff is always there. One more thing to add is the beautiful food available all day. The hotel description says complimentary continental breakfast, but you can think it is a full Enlish breakfast. You also have a choice of a local dish, which I strongly recommend. My conclusion is that there's not much to see in Kuching, but it is worth visiting this small town just to enjoy your getaway at the Ranee.

Wonderful location at the heart of the waterfront and all the museums. Staff could not be more friendly & helpful. Public rooms are lovely, however, some of the rooms are internal with no natural light. They have a balcony with chairs that opens into a vestibule. Our room was also tired. Nothing you would complain about, just tired. Breakfast, for us at least was poor.

I loved the Leonora room. It was spacious, clean and well laid out. The staff and service was impeccable. The breakfast was ample and delicious.

The air conditioner and ceiling fan are right above the beds. The cold airs are blowing on top of heads makes it uncomfortable to sleep. The towels have hold, and torn, no face towels. We have to carry our lugages to a set of stairs in order to take the lift. No offering of any help in bagges services for check in and check out. US $100 is not worth the price. There are not enought plug in. The reviews have been over rated. The air in the room was damp, muggy, and stale smell.

Hotel à taille humaine, très bien placé dans la partie la plus intéressante du centre, les chambres sont belles, spacieuses et grandes, le personnel est très accueillant, une très belle découverte. Le seul petit bémol est le café du petit déjeuner qui est moyen.

The Suite was perfekt

I have travelled to Kuching many times and stayed at various hotels in this lovely city. I decided to try the the Ranee Suites on a whim. I did not regret that decision. The most stellar part of my visit was the staff. Very polite, well informed and highly responsive! I needed to extend my stay by half a day and although my room was not available, they got me a room and moved my bags in a jiffy. The room I had was huge! It was clean and very comfortable. The lighting was perhaps a little low but it was adequate. There is a need for more electrical outlets as there was only one available which had to be shared with the kettle. An outlet with a USB port next to the bedside works have been handy and perhaps the hotel can consider adding this at sometime. The room came with breakfast which was passable. Choices were quite limited. At the time I had breakfast, 8:30am, the restaurant was not crowded but service was slow. Only 2 staff were present and they were struggling to keep up with all the duties they had. The hotel is very well located right on the Kuching waterfront and is in easy walking distance of many attractions. Overall a really pleasant stay and this has become my favourite hotel in Kuching.

Décoration soignée. Vraiment Boutique Hotel. Chambres sans vue par contre et petit-déjeuner lent à venir malgré un personnel attentionné.

We loved the design and ethos of the hotel. It was in an excellent location, room was comfortable and spacious, and breakfast, though somewhat limited, was very good indeed. Our balcony looked onto an internal 'courtyard' which was in effect a public corridor, so we did not use it.

Perfectly central, near places of interest, restaurants and shops; 24 hour minimart few doors down. On the river for the bridge, boats and walking to all central locations. Helpful and friendly staff. Spacious suite and bathroom and a relaxed cultural feel to the hotel. Would happily stay here again.

Great location to many iconic places, especially to many local coffee shops/cafes. - Great team of friendly staff. & all staff on duties at the Front Desk do make an efffort looking out/friendly approach towards any one walked in to the hotel ensuring the safety for the hotel guests. - Staff of hotel restaurant & at the fruit store, taking ownership for their duties. Service industry is a challenge, let alone for hotel industry with many tourists from all countries. Keep up the great job. Thank You,Team.

Room with window into internal space curtain rail was locked so you could not close the curtain. Intermiittent buzzing in room. Misdirected showerhead meant you had stand on large cobbles to get under it. Poor breakfast

Positives 1.Extremely comfortable beds, we slept so well. 2.The water pressure in the shower was super strong. Wonderful shower. 3. Location is perfect. 4. Lovely patio area overlooking the library. 5. Wonderful service from reception. Negatives- breakfast I was so surprised how poor the breakfast was and this is something that could be remedied easily. The coffee was too weak (almost transparent). First morning i ordered the eggs and almost cried when i saw the quantity of food on the plate. That piece of garlic bread is insignificant and doesnt even taste good. Why not invest in sourdough bread and serve a thick slice with the eggs and maybe a sausage. Even the fruit in the buffet area looked a bit pathetic. Please upgrade your breakfast to match the quality of the rest of the hotel.

We love to stay at this hotel as the staff are amazing from Check-in, breakfast, cleanliness of the room and Check-out. It’s located near the Merdeka Mall and Carpenter St. We have already stayed 3 times before and will stay again in the future.

Second time we stayed at this wonderful place. Everything was perfect and location was close the mall and local food. The staff were also excellent and special mention to Ms Olivia at the front desk.

Overall, this was a great stay. Recommend. The staff alone make the hotel - by far the friendliest and sweetest staff I have ever encountered! The suite was beautiful and quite comfortable. Great location for all things in Kuching.
