コロナ禍が明け、5年ぶりのモルディブ旅行をバタラで過ごしました。 スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで、とくにレストランスタッフは、数日経つと日本語で挨拶してくれる等好感がもてます。 水上コテージに宿泊しましたが、部屋は広く、クローゼットは必要十分に確保されている。テーブル等も良い具合に配置されており荷物置場に困る事はありません。 ドロップオフに近く、魚も多い、シュノーケリング三昧の日々を過ごせます。 料理は、日替わりで料理のテーマが変わっているようで、飽きさせないようにしているのがわかります。料理の種類がすごく多いわけではないので、同じ料理もあります。イタリア人の訪問が多いためか、ピザとパスタは定番で用意されています。ピザはその場で焼いているため、焼きたては美味しい。パスタは、シェフに注文して作ってもらう方式で、日ごとに部分的に種類が変わり、いろいろと試すのも面白い所。 デザートは、チョコレートに力を入れているような感じでチョコレートを使用したデザートはとても美味しい。 バタラで残念なところは、珊瑚がほとんど壊れていることです。クマノミを探す事が困難な程でした。バタラが悪いわけではありませんが、珊瑚が復活し、多くのクマノミが見れるようになることを願っています

The staff all the way from the receptionist David to our waiter haris to our housekeeper Didi was exceptional. They make you feel welcome and at home. The snorkeling around the reef was so much fun as well as the excursions. Me and my wife went for our honeymoon and are already talking about going back.

The service was great! The staff friendly. The place was like paradise.

It was a great Island, nice back to nature feel. Only minor area for complaint was safety and privacy: Need an internal rail around the water bungalow walkways, dangerous for kids and drunks. Another screen down the side of water bungalows, so your neighbours can not look in would be nice. Our great whaleshark boat tour was overloaded and breached boat safety, 1 of the non paying hotel staff should have stepped down, rather than overload a boat safety guidelines.

My stay at this stunning Maldives resort was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the fantastic team made us feel welcome and ensured our experience was unforgettable. The resort offers great activities and affordable excursions, with highlights including incredible snorkeling right off the island. We encountered a vibrant array of marine life including turtles, sharks, angel rays, and beautifully reconstructed coral reefs. Dining at the resort was a delightful experience, with high-quality food that catered to various tastes. Each meal was a culinary adventure, showcasing the best of local and international cuisines. if I had to mention a couple of areas for improvement. I would suggest adding fans at the pool table area to enhance comfort. Additionally, while the food was outstanding, the desserts tended to be overly sweet. A bit more balance in the sweetness would elevate the dining experience to perfection. Despite these minor points, our stay was magical. The natural beauty, attentive staff, and variety of activities made it a perfect getaway. Thank you for an amazing time in this little piece of paradise!

* I paid full price with Expedia but when got to the resorts they charged me extra green tax fees. * in their page they said have tv in public area but they don't * there is no hotel in the world rated 4 stars and has no tv in the room * they said laundry included in their page but they charged for laundry in the hotel

We arrived during a storm in the off season and that was a difficult journey. Upon learning this the team at Sandies Bathala then did everything they possibly could to make sure the remainder of our stay was incredible and it was! We'll have memories to cherish for a lifetime. The food is delicious and varied. The staff are kind, warm and attentive. The island's features really well thought out, eco friendly and well maintained. The coral reef is awesome and the ability to go snorkeling directly from your villa is a highlight. We stayed on the beachfront and in an overwater villa and they were both great! We'd go again on a heartbeat. Highly recommend staying at Sandies Bathala!

The stay was nothing short of amazing, I loved my experience and didnt want to leave. The scenery was to die for and worth every penny.

My little hut out on the water was pure heaven. I came home yesterday so relaxed and chill. It was the best holiday I've had in a while.

It was a wonderful relaxing holiday and the staff were all so happy all the time. It was the closest thing to a ZEN holiday I have ever had. Cant recommend it any higher!

Isola incantevole circondata completamente dalla barriera corallina. Cibo, pulizia e cortesia impeccabile. Abbiamo alloggiato in un water villa ed è stata un esperienza incredibile. Le escursioni (a pagamento) sono ben organizzate e ci hanno permesso di nuotare tra: squali balena, mante, tartarughe...qualcosa di veramente incredibile!. Ringraziamo Alice, Alessia, Silvia e Noemi per la loro cortesia e disponibilità. Avere delle biologhe nello staff è veramente un plus. Il reef attorno all'isola è pieno di vita, tra squali, razze ed un infinità di pesci tropicali. Vacanze super!!!

Mi aspettavo una struttura un pochino più curata nei particolari, eccellente la pulizia e tutto lo staff, ha una splendida barriera corallina per fare snorkeling e immersioni .

5 giorni che sono volati, super piacevoli. Mai visto così tanti pesci, compresi squali (assolutamente inofensivi) intorno ad un'isola e spesso visibili dalla stanza. Non siamo grandi fan della animazione ma era piacevole e non invasiva (ti lasciano partecipare quando sei interessato, altrimenti non sei disturbato). Molto interessante lo snorkeling con il team di biologhe. Siamo stati molto bene
