Simply dreadful. Dirty, broken, poor food, insouciant staff. Spent one miserable night suffering the noise from a massive party around the pool which went on to past 4am. Moved to another hotel the following day which felt like paradise by comparison

Service was impeccable

We had a very pleasant stay for our first visit to Mauritania. The hotel staff was very helpful prior to and after arrival to arrange airport transportation and to help us navigate to required COVID tests for departure (PCR free of charge by government and provided results the same afternoon). Hotel does not have a shuttle, and breakfast price is much less (10x) than shown in info page. Hotel has a lovely pool to cool down in or relax by. Fast Internet. We would stay here again.

Bien situé près d autres restaurants. Mais de gros problèmes d organisation. Pas la a mon arrivée avec la navette et loupé au départ... et ils veulent la faire payer 25 usd alors que sur le site elle est gratuite Restaurant ok..piscine agréable. Chambre propre mais vielle surtout la salle de bain. Bref relativement cher pour le produit.. à renover rapidement

hotel à rénover entièrement - manque de confort - meubles et lit bon marché et inconfortables - mauvais wifi et personnel peu accueillant. Bref le dernier hotel où aller à Nouakchott

Horrible : déjà le personnel ne trouvait pas ma réservation et j'ai eu la chance (enfin c'est ce que je pensais car il aurait été mieux que je change d'hotel) qu'ils aient une chambre libre. Donc la gestion des réservations de cet hôtel laisse à désirer. Ensuite pas d'ascenceur, chambre basique, petit lit, salle de bains moche et complètement dépassée. Bref un hôtel vieillot, personnel peu efficace, petit déjeuner horrible et chambre à rénover de toute urgence . Pour un prix exhorbitant donc je ne recommande pas cet hôtel - il y a mieux pas loin

Endroit très sympathique, j'ai hâte de revenir et de tester leur nouvelle aile de l'hôtel avec les nouvelles chambres

My room was very comfortable, the A/Cwork well, the housekeeping staff was excellent and so responsive,especially Binte Traore, the supervisor and Mama Toure her assistant. The breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of delicious fresh fruit, locally baked bread and sweet rolls, etc, tasty omelets, etc. Security was excellent. The grounds were well maintained, including a lovely swimming pool. The hotel is well situated near the center of Nouakchott. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Chambre calme. Manque peut-être une bouilloire. Restaurant agréable et bon. J'ai pu garder la chambre jusqu à .minuit. Ils sont très à l'écoute du client

the best hotel in Mauritania but still it does not deserve 4 stars, need more amnesties and conditions like minibar full, like working safe box, coffee maker inside the room,needs mostly renovation...

Very good hotel. The food is great and the staff very professional.The hotel is clean and relatively safe. It will be hard to beat it in Nouakchott

Business trip. Not a tourist area

The Monotel is a lovely hotel in the heart of Nouakchott. My room was quiet and comfortable, and the staff was helpful and friendly.
