Great staff and beautiful views!

Really enjoyed our stay right at the beach, sandwiched between the best of Tulum's hotels for a fraction of the price. Will be back.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was genuinely the worst hotel stay I’ve experienced despite extensive international travel. The biggest issue was safety and connectivity. There was essentially no Wi-Fi and almost no cellular reception, making it extremely difficult — and honestly concerning — to contact anyone, get directions, or access help when needed. For a property marketed at a higher standard, this alone is unacceptable. The room itself was far from a four-star experience: musty odor, poor lighting, weak air conditioning, geckos inside the room, and an awkward bathroom layout where my legs hit the shower wall while sitting on the toilet. While housekeeping did keep the room clean, the overall comfort level was extremely low. Sleep was impossible. There was constant loud music thumping all night and into the morning, plus a recurring buzzing noise every few minutes that sounded like a dryer alarm going off. None of us in our group slept properly during the entire stay. After raising these issues, the property manager acknowledged the problems and offered a partial refund. However, after multiple attempts to follow up, he stopped responding, blamed the reservations department, and would not connect me with them or a supervisor. Ultimately no resolution was provided by the hotel. Expedia tried to resolve with no luck. Bottom line, there are countless better places to stay in Tulum. If you are expecting a comfortable four-star experience, look anywhere else.

Estuve 2 dias sin wifi ni señal alguna, 3 dias sin toallas, no me dejaban había que pedirlas que porque lavanderia estaba saturada. 7 mil pesos para lo q ofrecían no lo vale para nada. La atención de los chicos era buena. Pero pase corajes todos los días y hasta mi reembolso quiero pedir. No me volvería a quedar ahi la verdad. Ni el agua te rellenaban. Los cojines de plastico.

I recently stayed at **Hotel Casa Coyote** to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday. While there were a few bright spots, overall the experience was unfortunately very disappointing—especially considering the price. I want to start by acknowledging the **housekeeping staff and the security guard**, who were truly fantastic. They were kind, attentive, and professional, and honestly the best part of our stay. Their efforts did not go unnoticed and deserve recognition. However, the overall experience fell far short of expectations. The noise level was excessive—people were constantly slamming doors, and the sound echoed throughout the entire building at all hours, making it extremely difficult to rest or relax. The **Wi-Fi was consistently unreliable**, going in and out and often not working at all. Each time we asked about it, we were met with excuse after excuse rather than a solution, which was frustrating and unprofessional. Given the **price we paid**, this stay was absolutely **not worth it**. For a property marketed at this level, we expected much better comfort, communication, and overall quality. While I truly appreciate the staff who did their best, I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The room was amazing! AC worked very well! It was clean! Housekeeping was great! They were very quick to help get us other things we needed and also suggested a few things to do around town. Hot water worked great, just had to let it warm up for about 5minutes! Super affordable too!

This is a great little hotel as its nic e and quiet however it is a bit far from the main resteraunt area.

I had a great stay. Staff was very helpful and the shared areas are nice. Away from crowds.

Suprisingly great for the price. It was beautiful, in the jungle.

Best place to stay and go across for best beach

I loved this space. There was a rustic charm to it that appealed to me at the end of a long trip. Staff were very helpful and the collectivo makes it easy enough to get to the ADO or into town.

Ivo was wonderful since the moment we booked. Very easy to communicate with. Patricio was also very helpful and kind at check in. The property is beautiful and the room is just like the pictures, with a nice balcony and all the jungle at the back to us. I loved that they gave us a pass to access the beach club across the street. FYI Area is expensive and food is overpriced

Amazing place to stay! So incredibly happy I stayed at Casa Coyote for my mini solo trip. The whole experience was seamless from beginning to end. Ivo was friendly, responsive and always helpful when needed. There is 24 hour security so I felt very safe as a solo traveler. Can’t wait to return! I definitely will be back and would highly recommend Casa Coyote.

I love my stay at Casa Coyote! Nicco and his staff were extremely helpful. They allowed me to change my room because I didn't like the view from the patio of my first room. For the price, Casa Coyote is excellent. The decorations in the room and throughout the property are very cute. I like the candles lighting the walkway in the evening. They add a special touch to the place. I really like having a patio with the view of the garden. Ask for this if you can. I also like the communal kitchen. I was able to make myself tea and store perishable items in the fridge during my stay. I didn't use the pools because to me, the beach is so much better. The easy beach access through Dos Ceibas is superb. It cannot be beat! I love every minute at the beach. It's close enough to the hotel that I felt comfortable leaving my things at the beach to come back to the hotel if I forgot anything. The food and staff at Dos Ceibas are also very good. I prefer eating at this restaurant because of the food quality and the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Book it and you won't regret it.

It was my first time going to an eco-hotel so I did not know what to expect but it was a pretty cool experience. Even though the AC automatically turns off from 12pm-5pm, the concrete walls and ceiling fan helped keep the room cool which was essential for getting ready for a wedding. Ivo was amazing! VERY quick to respond our messages and questions and incredibly helpful with our entire stay. However, I cannot say the same about the concierge service. We attempted to get ahold of our concierge all day Friday with very limited response, same situation on Saturday. Unfortunately this led to us not being able to go on an excursion we had planned on for Sunday. By the time our concierge returned our multiple messages on Saturday, we were already at the wedding we were attending and did not have service to pay for it online. (I had been attempting to get ahold of her since 9am and did not get a message back until 5:30pm.) We were incredibly disappointed by this as we had been very excited for this opportunity. But again, this was not our experience with Ivo. I felt like Ivo went above and beyond for us!!!

This place is very dirty and very small inside. It’s for someone who is not use to luxury or nice resorts. More for students. I arrived to this hotel and prefered to loose my money than to stay here. Expedia and the hotel wouldn’t refund us so we lost all our money.
