Hacienda San Angel in PV is a luxury property in the truest sense of that term. By which I mean, the combination of site, staff, sensibility, and flexibility. Of course Puerto Vallarta has become a crazy salad of experiences and maybe that makes this place even more important because it is a remarkable retreat. I am hard-pressed to find a single point on which I could be critical. We will be back, again and again.

The room was awesome! The common areas exquisite. And the entire staff, especially Luis and Norma, were superb.

The property is gorgeous but the staff make this hotel. Absolutely perfect service at every level, and graciously authentic. Every single interaction was a pleasure. We came because it looked beautiful but we’ll come back because of the people. We actually already came back since our first stay last week 😆 love love love it here.

Unique design decor and large comfortable rooms. But the location is very far from other sites. You need to taxi in and taxi out. Area around hotel needs attention.

Hacienda San Angel was an exquisite blend of ancient charm and rustic elegance. It possesses a magical atmosphere infused with the soul and comfort of a beloved friend's home. Beyond the historic walls lie a series of courtyards planted with vibrant flora and comfortable seating for reading, conversation or enjoying the warmth of the sun. The staff was hospitable and made my visit to memorable

It felt like you were staying inside someone’s house instead of a hotel, but with all the hotel amenities. It was a great experience; very quiet. There weren’t any kids when we went. We had the San Jose suite which was at the highest level. You have the option to eat the continental breakfast anywhere in the Hacienda. Ad was a little deceiving because it isn’t on the beach and there is no gym. There aren’t any elevators; except for the Michelin star restaurant.

We had our Wedding here and it was the most lovely experience. The staff was so accommodating and friendly especially Luis he catered to are every whim. We will 100% be coming back again. We hated to leave.

What a wonderful place to stay, so beautiful! The hotel has alot of character and the staff is very friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be back and stay longer next time! We enjoyed it so very much!!!

Beautiful property. Staff was amazing and courteous and took care of every need.

The hacienda is a beautiful place, with historic charm and very well maintained. We arrived on a Friday, parking is a challenge, it would be great if they had valet parking or best to use a taxi. The staff is friendly and we stayed at the San Miguel presidential suite. It’s the best room with so much space and a balcony bigger than most apartments. You get 270 degree view of the city, mountain and ocean and my God what a view. The food options in the restaurant are fantastic, and they have a mariachi band playing during dinner. The mariachi band sang beautifully and I appreciated that they weren’t obnoxiously loud, interrupting a perfectly nice dinner. I had a great experience, make sure to experience every corner of the hacienda, the details and architecture are so beautiful. Thanks to the owners and staff for maintaining this hidden gem, we will be back soon.

From the moment we were greeted at the door we felt at home. Lovely, lovely small hotel with interesting history. Every person working here was so pleasant and accommodating. The mgr. has some very sweet , small rescue pups she brings to work and they were a pleasure. We were greeted each morning by Luis who took the time to talk with us and remembered how we liked our morning coffee and he just made us feel so welcome each time we saw him. I highly recommend this lovely hotel. If you do t stay here you should save a night to enjoy dinner in their rooftop restaurant for delicious food, fine service, amazing sunset and live music.
