Clean, comfortable to stay. Angel is very kind, helpful.

Excellent location in the middle of Tulum, just 2 blocks from downtown Tulum. It's GOOD to keep a short distance from the non-stop music. Many restaurants around, not a problem for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The ADO bus station is on the Right of the main street, 10-15 mins walk; A taxi service center is on the Left of the main street, 5 mins walk. Room is small but cozy and clean. Wifi is smooth, Air-conditioning works well. The Hotel host, Mr. Jose Antonio very nice and helpful, he always make us feel warm. I would recommand this place if you would like to stay in town of Tulum.

Hôtel au centre de Tulum Pueblo, bien situé pour le petit dej et les restaurants. Hôtel simple, charmant, très propre. Petite piscine pour se rafraîchir et beau toit terrasse. Patron très aimable, toujours prêt à nous renseigner. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Hôte extrêmement sympathique. Maison charmante. Piscine qui est un régal après une (trop) chaude journée. Seul défaut inévitable en centre ville : un peu de musique arrive de la rue principale jusqu'assez tard dans la nuit. Les collectivos et les bus ADO pour les attractions locales ne sont qu'à quelques blocs de distance. Nous retournerions probablement dans cet hôtel si nous devions à nouveau visiter Tulum et ses environs.

Jose is a most gracious and helpful host. We spent a comfortable night in a pleasant atmosphere with good value. Sad they're not serving breakfast any more.

It is a small property without the bells and whistles of a large chain which enhances the experience. Very friendly service, room has everything you need and the location is very convenient. Jose had great suggestions for things to do and we wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

I like that the hotel is completely enclosed with locking gate. Although I arrived at night and wasn't sure where to find the entrance. Look for the doorbell! The pool is very small, the courtyard is beautiful. Room was clean with everything you need; bottled water, soap, shampoo, AC. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this place. The location was perfect, the room was nice and the owner was very helpfull.

I have stayed multiple times and locations around Tulum and this is a very clean and quiet location with excellent staff. Will definitely return in the near future. 👍👍👍

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Sofia. It was perfect for our diving trip. It is centrally located within two blocks of the dive shop we operated out of. Keep in mind that my kid and I went there with the purpose of diving in mind. This, it was a pretty rustic trip with few frills involved. We dived almost everyday and really looked at our hotel as a place to crash. It is within walking distance of everything in the center of town. For visiting the ruins, a taxi is easy to catch. Staff are friendly and accommodating. For travelers looking for the “all inclusive experience”, this is not your hotel. For those wanting a more traditional stay in the heart of a rapidly-expanding small Mexican city, it is perfect. I would and probably will stay at Hotel Casa Sofia again.

the bed was not great, and the shower was poor at best. but still good value

Hotellet er lille og charmerende og jeg synes godt om det, men der er nogle punkter som er mindre gode. Prisen er god, og det er beliggenheden også. Det ser ikke ud af meget fra gaden, men inde i gården er det flot og ret imponerende. Men det var lidt svært at finde, og parkering er på gaden. Værelset var ikke så stort så det kan være svært at finde plads til sine ting. Vandtrykket i bruseren var meget lavt, så det er ikke der man står og får varmen. Internettet havde udfald og var nogengange meget langsomt. Men alt taget i betragtning, synes jeg godt om dette hotel.

During the day the hotel looks beautiful, they have a rooftop which is gorgeous and the pool is very calm and tranquil. The bathroom was great and huge, the room was a little old style. Close to restaurants and main street of Tulum town.
