Cómoda, frente a la playa, accesible

Desgraciadamente por error, una chica de recepción era de nuevo ingreso y proporciono mis datos (nombre y telefono) por medio de una llamada, la cual malintencionada me quisieron extorsionar. algo muy desagradable y que se toco el tema con la gerencia. Adicional no me hicieron el servicio del cuarto 2 días no consecutivos, argumentando que hay que solicitar el servicio para que lo hagan, algo tambien muy poco agradable, no habia conocido un hotel en el cual se solicite la limpieza que para que no te interrumpan tu estancia.

En recepción te señalan que es un hotel boutique y te cobran $4,200 por noche y en verdad es PÉSIMO, en un completo FRAUDE. Es un establecimiento acaso de 1 estrella que carece de toallas de manos en las habitaciones, caja fuerte que no sirve, limpieza paupérrima, no tiene regadera en playa para quitar la arena del cuerpo, en verdad parece una casa de huéspedes. El personal de recepción grosero y absurdo y justifica esos precio por solo estar frente a la playa. Lo sorprendente es que expedía lo califique como excelente, siendo que es un hotelucho.

Excellent location, walking distance to beach. ADA accessibility can be an issue, no elevator to reach upper levels. Pool on second deck, so if you ask for first floor due to ADA getting to pool might be an issue. Food at location was average in taste and presentation. Price to value is below expectations.

Excelente lugar para hospedarse frente a la playa. El personal atento, incluso te ofrecen comunicación por WhatsApp durante la estancia. La comida y bebidas del restaurante deliciosa.

Place is well maintained a bit expensive for the area but overall good stay. Great views and great pool.

Todo súper bien

Tiene una excelente ubicación. El personal es súper amable, el restaurante italiano está genial y la comida es muy buena. El único detalle es con el estado de las habitaciones. Le falta algo de renovación.

No tiene elevador, subes cargando tus maletas. Pides unos minutos extra para salir y no te los dan. Pero si te hacen esperar el tiempo que ellos quieren en recepción. El baño de la habitación huele a caño. No tiene ventilación el baño. En especial la Jefa de Recepción llamada Enna fue la persona que no me dió ni un minuto extra para salir de la habitación pero si me tuvo esperando a su gusto en la recepción para darme salida. No regresaría por el costo- beneficio de la propiedad no se trata de un lugar que valga lo que se paga.

♦️OVERVIEW (Feb 8 - 15, 2026) I would happily stay here again! ❤️ The Hotel Scappata is not a luxury high-end hotel, but it sure tries hard to be! I had absolutely no problems staying here. There were a few minor issues here and there, but I’m not here to complain, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! I had a generous sized room with a comfortable king-size bed, sofa in an adjoining room (with dresser/drawer), and all the amenities you need; including towels (and beach towels!), stocked mini-fridge (with wine!), coffee-maker, safe, air-conditioning, and wide-screen TV’s—two of ‘em! (but who goes to México to watch TV?) Rates were reasonable and competitive with other hotels in the area. ⦁ A word about noise: It doesn’t matter where you stay. All hotels along the Malecón will have noise; especially in the evenings (from scooters, dogs barking, etc )— although the Hotel Scappata is somewhat quieter than other hotels along the Malecon (due to being further away from the pier). ♦️NOTES • HOTEL SCAPPATA: established in 2022 (formerly the Real del Mar Hotel/Restaurant Pelicano’s) • The hotel’s entrance is actually on the side of the building, on calle 70, but the hotel’s façade & restaurant face the Malecón (Calle 19 x 69/70 Malecon Progreso, Yucatán • The malecón itself is on calle 19 (also known as calle 69)

Had wonderful view of the ocean, great service from the staff and the food was fantastic! Overall a great experience for my wife and I!
