Instalaciones muy bien, muy buena atención y playa hermosa Ampliamente recomendable

Perfect and beautiful view of sunset, right on the water, ocean view, clean and comfy stay, massage was great, only thing is the parking is not on the property and is out on the open. But a place to surely stay and experience quite and peaceful moment.

Positives: The staff is great; the private beach is lovely; the pools are terrific; the room was a nice, open layout; and the bed was really comfortable. Negatives: The water in the shower is salty - it dries out your hair immediately (even more than the pools & ocean do); You have to close out the check with the bar each day - they will not allow you to charge to the room and pay at the end of the trip (literally had a bartender knock on the room door at 9:30pm my first night telling me I had to pay the bill for 3 drinks from earlier in the day) - & for some reason you can't tip on the tab, so you also need cash; There is no water dispenser & the front desk and bar run on limited hours (nobody there from about 10pm-7am or so) - so if you run out of water you're dehydrated until the next day; The drinks are extremely expensive - for example, there is only 1 (okay-ish) Sauvignon Blanc available and the bottle costs about $75 USD; There is a coffee maker in the room (uses Nespresso original line) but you have to buy the pods from the front desk, and get a coffee cup/sugar/milk from the bar; No toothpaste (as stated) in the event that you run out; and The Tapir Suite does not have a patio or balcony, as advertised. There were a few other no-so-great things, but these are important issues for guests to know.

El hotel a fines de marzo de 2026 estab en remodelaciones. Las obras no pararron ni sábados ni domingos. La Suite Terus está bien, pero le faltan lámaparas en las laterales de la cama y un buró adicional.

Our stay was smooth and relaxing the staff super friendly and attentive. All the waiters and room maintenance girl amazing and helpful. They offer massages I just wish they have a private booth or something to make the massages more enjoyable and private. The beach it’s beautiful, the food descent variety for the size of the place but EXCELLENT and delicious. Definitely coming back :)

A great place to hangout for some rest and relaxation for. Few days on the coast. Great breakfast and food. Slight word of warning for the small bungalows, they’re on the main road and by the nature of how they are built, aren’t the most soundproof. So might be an issue for light sleepers.

Un hotel pequeño, pero con muy buena vista y acceso a la playa, su restaurante sirve muy buena comida,no esperes porciones grandes, son chicas pero suficientes, el personal muy amable, precio acorde a la zona, ya que en restaurancitos de palapas cobran lo mismo pero aca tienes privacidad, hotel con alta demanda de daypass en fin de semana, 3 albercas y 1 chapoteadero, bastantes camastros distribuidos en el area, la playa amplia, musica agradable y que evita que la gente llegue con su musica alta, si vas a descanzar, eata es tu mejor opcion

My stay at the Tótem Beach Club Hotel was absolutely unforgettable. It’s a stunning place to spend a vacation—beautiful surroundings, relaxing atmosphere, and exceptional service from start to finish. The food and wine were outstanding, with every meal thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway!

Our stay at Totem Beach Club was a mix of stunning location and disappointing rest. The setting is absolutely beautiful — right on the beach with breathtaking sunsets. We were welcomed with a delicious non-alcoholic drink, which was a lovely touch. Our ground-floor ocean view room was spacious and had a refrigerator. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The shower was practically on top of the toilet, which felt poorly designed. During the night, there was constant noise from someone very close to our room watching something on their phone for hours. It wasn’t another guest, which made it even more frustrating. On top of that, bright lights from the pool and street stayed on all night, and there were no proper blackout curtains. The room was filled with light, making it almost impossible to sleep. We wanted to extend our stay but were glad the hotel was fully booked. After such a sleepless night, we realized this was not acceptable — especially for the price. The location is beautiful, but if you want guests to truly rest, this needs improvement.

We regret not staying here longer! 2 nights was not enough. The staff was so kind, especially Jonathan and Juliana. We felt really well taken care of from start to finish. The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s right on the calm, beautiful water with palapa, chairs, beds, and multiple pools. The restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. We kept thinking we’d go into town but we never once left the hotel because the food and service was so good. Can’t wait to go back.

La vista a la playa era increíble, el servicio de camastros, sombrillas y demás amenidades; así como el servicio que nos ofreció el personal. Si recomendaría el lugar si quieren algo diferente a lo que ofrecen otras estancias en Celestún
