corteous staff. clean room, nice view from the balcony. getting there is a bit challenging. area is not so nice.

Outstanding suite room with a view and service.

Don’t be deterred by the location and its neighborhood. Once you enter the hotel, you will be met with welcoming traditional Moroccan setting and friendly staff. The room we had was very clean and spacious and has traditionally decoration. The hotel has a large balcony with tables to have tea or enjoy the views. It also has a dining room for dinner and breakfast if your stay includes meals. The only small thing if we have to pick one to critique is the shower. Our shower head sprays some water horizontally and the water changes between hot and cold frequently. Still, we totally recommend this hotel.

Accueil très agréable grâce à la gentillesse du personnel, notemment Ali. Un petit déjeuner typique, très copieux nous a été servie chaque matin à l'heure de notre choix sur la terrasse de l'hötel. par L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier calme face aux champs cultivés. Ali nous a proposé un service de netoyage de linge (super, linge propore, bien plié, repassé), de restauration (que nous n'avons pas pris). Hôtel très propre, très calme (nouos étions les seuls clients), très bien decoré. Notre chambre étgait très spacieuse et très jolie avec une superbe terrasse. Nous recommandons vivement..

Lovely Family run Riad used as a stopover on way to Marrakech. A bit outside of main area (30 min walk) A bit tricky getting to but Google Maps got us there. Would recommend.

This was an incredible hotel. Quiet, the service was amazing and so comfortable. More boutique style and very authentic in decor and ambiance. I highly recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Located far away from the city center, in the middle of a very poor region, it is almost scary to approach. However, once you manage to arrive, you find a lovely, nicely decorated, small Riad, with pleasant staff. There are a few free parking slots outside. The room is small and we add a lot of difficulties to set ourself together with our things. Also, there is no table or a chair in the room, only outside, in the cold. The really bad part in breakfast, with supermarket bought food and old cold boiled eggs (the kitchen guy was kind and made us omelets) and the coffee is just horrible. You have to pay if you want something minimally decent. Shower was alternating cold and hot water and spreading water all over the place. Not sure if I would stay there again.

Great place to rest. Great attention of the staff and great to eat.

We had only planned to stay one night but Dar Amoudou is an excellent choice. It can be a bit challenging to find it but it’s worth it. Ali, the owner is welcoming and goes out of his way to ensure your comfort. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Very comfortable with great effort to satisfy our specific dietary requirements and a lovely view from the balcony. We enjoyed seeing both the sunrise and sunset from our balcony.

Non spaventatevi se la strada per arrivarci sembra non portare da nessuna parte, l'albergo è molto caratteristico e con un buon servizio.

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits en famille. Chambres très spacieuses avec grand balcon et magnifique vue, petit déjeuner simple et copieux, cartier environnant moyen, literie beaucoup trop ferme et sèche cheveux d’un autre temps. Parking gratuit.

We stayed here for our final 2 nights in Ouarzazate. We booked the suite which easily accommodated us as a family of 2 adults and 2 children and was beautifully decorated and had an incredible view from the large terrace accessible from our room. Ali the host was friendly and accommodating of our family. On the first night we were exhausted from a long 3 day excursion and we asked if Ali could provide us with dinner and whether we could eat this on the terrace. This was no trouble at all for Ali who ensured we had a delicious meal. Ali even offered us a lift into town, at no cost when we asked him to call a taxi for us the following day. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. From the main kasbah, Dar Armoudou is around a 25 minute walk which is pleasant, however, taxi's are also cheap. The area of the hotel also feels friendly and safe with many children playing out in the streets late into the night. Overall we cannot fault this place. From the decor, to the facilities and the wonderful host. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone.
