We stayed one night at this hotel. We had previously stayed at some beautiful mid-range riads in Marrakech and we were excited to splurge on a higher end hotel. We left frustrated and exhausted. Firstly, the hotel is an echo chamber. Whether it's guests walking around their rooms, flushing toilets or the staff, every noise inside could be heard. Outside our room, groups of men at different times throughout the night, chatted loudly next to our window, before riding off on their motorbikes. I am not sure if the empty lot across the street made it an easy spot for them to meet. Every surface of the hotel (while may look lovely in photographs) is uncomfortable. The chairs and couches are rock hard. I also sat on a chair where a cat had recently urinated so the hotel had to wash my pants. Lastly, the room and bathroom seemed too basic for the price. The sheets were not Egyptian cotton and the bed pillows were uncomfortable. I was forced to sit up and doze as my neck got so sore from the height and hardness of the pillow. The water in our room was never very hot and the shower pressure weak so I could not wash my hair, nor want to, in chilly December. While the staff were accommodating and always polite, it did not offset the experience or extremely poor value for money of this hotel. It does not seem reasonable to us that a hotel charges such prices when their guests in this room cannot have a reasonable or comfortable night's sleep. My recommendation is to look elsewhere if

We really had a nice stay at Riad Azahar. Roberto was very helpful by trying to book the desert tour and good information on Marrakech. I highly recommend this Riad.

Riad Azahar is centrally located easily walkable to all attractions. The staff are very friendly. Yousef was very helpful in finding us parking and helping with our baggage.

Had a wonderful experience at this Riad. The Riad itself is beautiful and clean. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with Moroccan tea and snacks. The owner, Roberto was kind enough to give us a run-down of the city with a marked map. The service provided by Yousef and Simo was amazing. They served breakfast when it worked with our schedule and made sure we had everything we needed thoughout our stay. It felt like we received personalized services and they definitely made us feel at home.

I had a great experience at this location on my visit the staff was wonderful the owner was very and extremely friendly, informative and attentive… the morning breakfast was awesome…I would recommend this location for stay…

Unser Aufenthalt war unvergesslich. Super nettes personal ein tolles Frühstück und eine optimale Lage am Rande der Medina. Zu Fuß alles gut erreichbar. War sicher nicht unser letzter Besuch in Marrakech und im Riad Azahar.

I can’t say enough good things about this Riad and the great people who manage it. Very attentive and kind staff who will make you feel welcome on a very personable level. The room and accommodations were very clean and pristine and anything you may need, the staff will take it upon itself to take care of it for you. Highly recommend!

Vi hadde mye problemer med taxi og vognkjører med å finne riaden. Anbefaler alle å bestille henting gjennom riaden og det blir ikke dyrere. Når vi oppkavde kom inn på riaden var det som å komme inn i en oase. Koselig og rolig riad. Rommet hadde ingen vinduer men var ellers greit. God lokal frokost. Hyggelige ansatte og eier. Kan anbefales.

I had a fantastic stay at Riad Azahar, would absolutely recommend for anyone visiting Marrakech. My room was beautiful, comfortable and had everything I needed. The staff here are the best, first class service, incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast was homemade, a delicious selection of local foods. Do not hesitate to book a stay here, you will throughly enjoy it.

Todo superlativo en el riad! Roberto, el dueño, lo cuida todo hasta el más mínimo detalle. Él y toda la gente del riad son muy amables y atentos. Nos han ayudado y nos han dado toda la información necesaria durante toda lq estancia. El desayuno riquísimo!

I’ve travelled throughout the world and can honestly say this was one of the most superb hospitality experiences of my life. Roberto and every member of his team ensured we made the most of our time in Marrakesh, providing guidance, delicious food, and lots of good conversation. The Riad is within the old Jewish quarter near the still-operating synagogue and also an easy walk to Palace Bajio, the gold market and many other sites.

From the moment we arrived at the Riad, we were greeted by the warm hospitality of the Italian owner who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The staff, always with a smile on their faces, added to the welcoming atmosphere and made every effort to accommodate our needs throughout our stay. The Riad itself was a beautiful blend of traditional Moroccan architecture and modern amenities. The love and care put into maintaining its cleanliness and upkeep were evident in every corner. The spacious rooms provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the bustling streets of Marrakech. What truly stood out was the attention to detail and the genuine desire of the owner and staff to make our experience unforgettable. From recommending the best local eateries to arranging, they were always on hand to assist us in any way they could. Overall, our stay at the Riad was nothing short of magical. It provided the perfect sanctuary in the heart of Marrakech, and we left with fond memories and a longing to return. Grazie mille to the wonderful owner and staff for an unforgettable experience.

We’ve stayed in many hotels all around the world however, Riad Azahar set up a new record in terms of hospitality. The staff at the Riad was sincerely interested to make our three day visit to Marrakech really enjoyable. The breakfasts were delicious and always freshly made using the best and freshest produce. A fresh juice and Moroccan tea of the highest quality are always part of the breakfast. We’ve asked for a dinner one of the evenings and it was so DELICIOUS!!! Then we’ve ordered a lunch at the Riad next day. It’s hard to say what we’ve liked more: the Vegetarian tajine or Fish tajine or Cuscus with vegetables or cold appetizers… The very much enjoyable private hammam experience was arranged for us. The great concept of “relax and enjoy your life” - they have shown us how it works!

We had a wonderful stay at riad Azahar. All staff members made us feel at home. Everyone is super friendly. The riad is located in a quiet area of the Medina but very near to the big square and shops.

Amazing riad, room and host. Clean, cozy and decorated riad with perfect breakfast and nice people. Just a minor issue that we were not informed that one of the route to the Riad is closed/blocked and we spent some time and energy to find the correct location of the riad. Luckily, a friendly local assist us in finding the riad successfully. For the parking area, just ask the local and pay them tips and they will show you the nearest parking area to the riad. The riad staff will assist carrying your luggages from the car, so no worries if you just park it in the parking area near the riad.

Newer, nice Riyad. Rooms were spacious, clean, beds were comfortable. Owner Roberto was very helpful and friendly in sharing pointers on things to do and logistics. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Riad Azahar is perfectly located in Marrakesh for the Medina and all the site seeing attractions. The Riad itself is absolutely beautiful and has been very tastefully renovated by Roberto. The staff, especially Sumo, make you feel so at home that you feel like you are staying at a friend's home rather than a paying guest. We had the most wonderful time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.
