Airport transfer took 2hrs to arrive and many miscellaneous charges added to the bill

personnel gentil, petit déjeuner bon mais pouvant etre amélioré.Ce qui est décevant c'est l'accueil inexistant pas digne d'une hotellerie .Concernant la chambre, nous déplorons l'absence de porte entre la chambre et la salle de bain ainsi qu'un entretien à minima. Aucune proposition d'information concernant Marrakech, ni meme de brochures mises a disposition. Pour nous qui allons pratiquement tous les mois a Marrakech, c'est la première fois que nous avons un sejour aussi peu "chaleureux" comme il en est habituellement dans les riads. Forte clientèle espagnole.Quartier très moyen.

We could not have been happier with this Riad. It is in a very quiet part of the Medina, you don’t hear anything until the chirping birds wake you in time for breakfast at 8am. If you want to be in the middle of the Medina and near the Souks, this is not it. We took cabs to anything further than Bahia Palace and it was perfect for us. The Riad really is as pretty as the pictures. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you are unhappy with anything, they will do whatever they can to fix it. My dad was not well during our trip and they could not have been more caring. The rooftop terrace is great if you want to soak up some sun. The heaters in the rooms came in very handy as it gets quite cold at night. Make sure you dress warm during breakfast as the breakfast area doesn’t heat up very well. The orange juice during breakfast is quite possibly the best orange juice I’ve ever had. I ordered oj in every restaurant we visited in Marrakech and none was as good. It would be nice if the lighting in the rooms had some brighter options. Moroccan lamps are gorgeous but good luck finding anything in your suitcase or inside the closet without using a flashlight.

What a beautiful place to stay! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We loved it here. It’s walking distance to everything and we always felt safe and comfortable.

The staff are wonderful, very accommodating and filled with tips for the area. The common space is beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. The riad is a bit out of the way, which is fine as long as you don't mind walking a bit. The rooms are nice. There is only a curtain between the bathroom and the bedroom, but after staying in a few Riads, this seems to be the norm. The doors don't lock, but there is a room safe and staff are always on hand to make sure no one is going through your stuff. Bottom line: for the price would stay again.

Riad Opale werd aangeprijst als een luxe accommodatie. Wijzelf komen met onze beoordeling niet verder dan 3 sterren. De kamers zijn niet groot, vrij donker door de wat sombere middelgrijze wandkleur en zwart meubilair en hier en daar zijn er tekenen van achterstallig onderhoud, zoals bijvoorbeeld een loshangende lampenkap van de bedverlichting en in badkamer douchearmaturen die aan vervanging toe waren. Voor 2 personen is de legruimte voor kleren in de kast niet voldoende. Er moest dus uit de koffer geleefd worden. De minibar was niet meer dan een leeg ijskastje en de warm watervoorziening was niet altijd toereikend voor de totaal zeven 2-persoons kamers van de Riad. Bij ons is het in een week 2x voorgekomen dat er geen warm water was !. Het 2-persoons bed was omschreven als een kingsize, wij vonden het echter meer het kleinere formaat van een Frans grandlit. Een kingsize bed zou overigens ook niet in de kamer gepast hebben. Het zwembad op de begane grond, een van de redenen dat wij voor Opale kozen, was onverwarmd en zo koud dat een dappere gaste er net zo snel weer uit kwam als ze er in ging. Op het dakterras boven waren bijvoorbeeld bloembakken verveloos en hier en daar nodig aan vervanging toe. Tegenover dit alles staat dat de vier man personeel uitermate vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam was.

Efter en uges dejligt ophold på Riad Opale, må vi desværre også blande lidt malurt i bægeret: Glem alt om de lovede badekåber og badetøfler. Glemt blev vi også, trods aftale om afhentning i lufthavnen. Menukortet lovede vin og spiritus – glem det. Betale med kreditkort på hotellet – glem det. Nøgler til hotel og værelse – glem det. Dør til toilet og bad – glem det. Og apropos badeværelset: Mindedes et besøg som dreng på landet hos et ældre elskeligt gårdmandspar i 1950'erne. Badefaciliteterne var de samme som på Riad Opale; rene og pæne, men mildt udsagt meget primitive, meget slidte og meget mangelfulde. Personalet er alle ualmindeligt søde og hjælpsomme. Kommer hurtigt når strømmen er væk og vasken forstoppet, tropper op med ekstra varmeapparat når nattefrosten truer velfærden, og stiller velvilligt TV'et på fransktalende kanaler. Et ægte marokkansk riad.

Nice riad, though google maps showed it at the wrong place originally (I submitted a correction). It's a 20 min walk from the tourist center (Jemaa el-Fna). I didnt mind the walk once I got my bearings.

Un Riad plein de charmes et un personnel aux petits soin ! Nous avons pu y fêter le premier anniversaire de mon fils avec l'aide de la directrice , une femme exceptionnelle et à l'écoute des moindres désires de sa clientèle. Je recommande à 100 %

Staff was superb ... overall great experience although bathroom needs improvement ... shower needs a curtain so the water does not splash over.

El único pero de nuestra estancia, han sido unas tasas al momento de dejar el hotel. Cuando reservas y lo pagas por adelantado, piensas que no habrán sorpresas.
