We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The unit was clean and well kept. It’s hidden among the streets of Medina. I’m glad we stayed there with our kids. The staff was very helpful at all times.

Hotellet var veldig fint, men litt vanskelig å finne samt at det er vanskelig å komme helt frem med bil. Souloymane og resten av de ansatte var svært hjelpsomme, imøtekommende og hyggelige under hele oppholdet.

Our stay at Riad Rafaele & Spa was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the hospitality, cleanliness, and stunning decor. The riad truly feels like a peaceful oasis tucked away in the souks — quiet, safe, and beautifully designed. We stayed on the ground floor, and our room was both beautiful and serene. The attention to detail in the decor was incredible, and the washroom was modern and spotless while still keeping a traditional Moroccan charm with stone finishes. A special thank you to Brahim and Souleymane, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. They were always available, friendly, and attentive — helping us with our luggage, keeping our water refilled, giving us helpful local tips, arranging taxis, and even walking us to meet them. Their kindness and hard work truly made our stay so much better. We also had a photographer come to take pictures of my husband and me, and the staff were so accommodating — even serving tea to him while he waited for us. Overall, everything about this riad exceeded our expectations. It’s a hidden gem that combines comfort, culture, and genuine Moroccan hospitality. We would highly recommend it and would love to return!

Le personnel est très gentils et agréables. En revanche, nous n'avons pas eu la chambre réservés. La réservation sur Hotels stipule une chambre de luxe et nous avons eu droit à une chambre confort, sombre et ne corresponds pas à celle que nous avons réservé. Problème signalé aux responsables mais aucune action ou solution n'a été proposée. Il semble que c'est un problème récurrent puisque d'autres clients avaient été confrontés au même problème. Dommage de nous gâcher partiellement nos vacances.

Amazing stay! Really fantastic spa, loved the Hammam baths. Overall really nice hotel, great breakfast, nice ambiance, clean and big room.

We spent 4 nights at this beautiful Riad. Very peaceful & in a great location at the top of the Medina which made exploring on foot very easy. A lovely breakfast each morning of breads and eggs up on the roof top. All the staff were friendly and so welcoming but I must call out Brahim, who gave us a very warm welcome, told us all there is to know on the local area and really looked after us during our stay & at breakfast. A wonderful stay. Thank you all. We can also ecommend the spa & the service provided by Maryam & Oumyma. We booked the duo couples hamman & massage and it was sheer bliss. Once I overcame my inhibitions of being half naked, with just the provided disposable knickers on, it was amazing. The hamman left our skin so soft and cleansed. The massage was so relaxing and included a facial. It was a wonderful treat after a couple of hectic days exploring the Medina. It ends with a delicious, refreshing mint tea. Thank you Maryam & Oumyma for making us feel so special & giving us renewed glowing skin! Such a wonderful Riad - we loved it.

Beautiful property and wonderful staff… the only downside is they do not serve alcohol- do I read on their Expedia page when I booked said that they did.

This riad is lovely, has mod cons and is situated in a lovely location, easy to get to all the souks and the taxi rank. However there are some areas for improvement bearing in mind that I have been to Marrakech twice before and stayed in local riads… on our arrival we were greeted warmly with refreshments but then were told that a staff member will be explaining the area on a map and this went on for quite some time which I felt was really unnecessary especially as we were not asked if we needed this information. We were quite tired, already had our days planned and booked museums and this was not needed. No other riad has subjected me to this and certainly not the way I would like to start the holiday. I had to ask twice to allow us to just get changed and start exploring the city. Their breakfasts were not substantial, especially as a vegetarian who does not eggs, they did not cater enough. I had asked for some yoghurt and they did not have any on any of the days. Again in contrast to other riads who have provided a far more substantial breakfast. They also had real problems with their card machine which I found quite stressful to be honest, and I wasn’t the only English person who experienced this. Again other riads I’ve stayed at did not have this problem. They are issues with their plumbing from scorching hot to very cold.

Quiet location but very close to restaurants and sights. Wonderfully friendly and happy staff. The riad was clean and luxurious. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful riad! The comfort and hospitality is incredible! The staff, managers and owners went out of their way to make it a truly special stay! Loved the interior design and the fabulous roof top terrace!

Es waren traumhafte paar Tage im Raffaele. Die Mitarbeiter haben sich rührend bemüht und waren sehr freundlich. Auch die Besitzer waren regelmäßig vor Ort und haben Tipps gegeben. Das Frühstück war gut. Ich kann das Riad jedem empfehlen.

Fabulous stay and wonderful staff all round.

Great location. Spacious, comfortable room. The staff just couldn’t do enough for us and were very helpful in warning us about the tourist pitfalls in the city.

My mother and I had the most wonderful stay at Riad Rafaele! The location is absolutely perfect, a bit hidden from the rustle and bustle of the medina but simultaneously situated within a short walking distance to most of the main attractions and popular restaurants. The neighborhood was also perfect for stumbling upon all sorts of souk gems. But by far the best part of staying here was the warm welcome and daily accommodations provided by the staff and hotel owners. My mother and I have never felt safer and more well taken care of at another hotel and for that we are very grateful. Thank you Riad Rafaele for a setting the sweetest tone for a trip of a lifetime!
