OK. I want to be fair about this property. We got off on the wrong foot right from the start. First of all, it's VERY small. And it's out of the way of anything, although...a cab ride to the town center is only $1.50. However; back to the beginning. The "suite" that I booked was already taken and the manager just basically shuffled us into another "suite." Calling either of these rooms a "suite" is a HUGE exaggeration. They're just - rooms. The only difference between the two was the decor, so we basically stayed where we were, although the manager offered to move the other person. In addtition, we asked where would be a good restaurant for dinner and the manager made a suggestion, but when we asked if he'd make a reservation for us, the answer was and emphatic, "No!" The visit was somewhat saved by the charm of Chefchouen oldtown, and the breakfast that was prepared for us on the roof top the next day. The manager even accommodated us with an earlier time since our ride was picking us up before they usually served breakfast. So there was an effort made to make the stay more pleasant, But...giving this Riad any more than 3 stars is impossible. Just too small and out of the way.
