Very nice location. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and well presented. Furniture is old and needs updating. View from room lovely! Breakfast was good and dining area lovely.

Tutto pessimo: nessuna accoglienza, in bagno niente asciugamani e set di cortesia già usati, Wi-Fi inesistente, colazione in altra struttura di ignoto indirizzo, non vedevamo l'ora di andarcene disorganizzati è dire poco!

Not really in Walvis bay but in long beach / 10 km away. No longer a Protea branded hotel. Quite old fashion but a large room with th ocean view at a reasonable price. Parking lot nearby. Receptionnist very helpfull.

The personal is so rude. They did not have my reservation, they did not know about my stay there. We never received an apology, only bad face from them. I got a room that was not what I paid. Dirty, humid place, smelling bad, rude personal. We traveled for all Namibia and this place was the only that we felt uncomfortable and no welcome. I do not recommend this place! Don't go, found other hotel.

This place needs serious revamp to carry operating under the Protea brand.The rooms are not that terrible, it just that things a deriorating and staff are doing their best with service, but for the beautiful location it needs a serious upgrade.

Check in was a nightmare. They had no idea about the booking. Then they did not have the rooms booked. They insisted that the selected room type was incorrect as they did not have that many of that particular type on the property. Need signage for the place.

It was a good hotel that was affordable and close to the beach and Walvis Bay with good breakfast and very comfortable

Protea Hotel? No this shouldn't be call a Protea Hotel. Very small facility, no proper ventilation, no windows in the room, floor carpet very dusty and dirty, wifi doesn't work in the room we were given, no receptionist on duty at night when we arrived from our visit. I had to cancel the second night of our stay and I am still expecting my refund after 5 days.

The hotel has been reduced to cheating to stay open

Very bad. The wifi for guest was switched off, not enough towels for 2 guests in the room, the breakfast was frustrating as there was never enough cutlery or milk etc. When i got there only 2 rooms were ready when i got there even though i had booked for 3. There is very limited channels on their dstv as well. My bed cover had small holes on it as well. The ratings do not lie, avoid this place.

Wet towels!! Really in this day and age. one bath towel and one hand towel, even after I brought it to their attention and only on the last day we received 1 clean bath towel in addition to the 1 from the previous. Day. Wifi down most of the time. Kettle filthy that I got sick. food left over cheese from the Monday including cold meats to till the Thursday morning. No chef on the Thursday, no serviettes a toaster that doesn't work.

Hotellet ligger ikke i Walvis bay, men 15 km unna. Vanskelig å skjønne nå du bestiller. Men det ligger i Walvis Bay "fylke". I et område med masse bygging av nye hotell og feriehus, så å si på stranda. Alt for mange trapper - tungt å dra bagasje opp og ned trapper. Skittent svømmebasseng. Meget dårlig service. Tok en time å lage en omelett til frokost, "bare" 45 minutt for å steke egg. Ingen oppfylling av pålegg og brød. Når brødet kom var det frossent. Kaffe tok like lang tid å få. Hotellet manglet håndklær og glass på rommene. De dro tydligvis til et annet hotell og lånte, så vi fikk det like før midnatt. Utsjekking tok svært lang tid, selv om rommet var forhåndsbetalt. Restaurant fantes ikke, men vi ble henvist til et søsterhotell 1,5 km unna. Var relativt rimelig, men det blir spist opp av taxikostnader.
