エアコンがつかず終日暑苦しい中で過ごす羽目になった。スタッフの説明では運悪く通電していないとのこと。三ヶ月以上も前に予約してあったのにそんないいわけはないとおもう。雨期で虫も多く窓を開けて眠る訳にもいかず、結局熟睡出来なかった。結構人気があるようだったが、二度と泊まることはないし、人にも勧めない。

Alles war sauber, die Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt, das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und es ist dort ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

Such a unique place, so worth it to stay here. Truly enjoyed it, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful garden and pool. Friendly animals around. Amazing sunset from dinning terrace.

Great space in the room with good air conditioning. Friendly staff. They had WiFi problems when we were there and coupled with the poor service in the area - we basically could not communicate with others. The cleaning of the rooms needs to be improved and would have prefer a shower with the door to limit the mess from the water.

Very good lodge

What an amazing time we had at this little hotel. It is truly is a oasis in the middle of nowhere. Let me emphasize the middle of nowhere and then you suddenly come across this place, and it has everything that you need for an overnight or two nights day. The best part? The air conditioning is super Duper fantastic.

Great location to access all the adventures of the dessert! The lodge cat Kalahari is the sweetest. We had a great time at the Cheetah Sanctuary.

Wonderful lodge in the desert. Very friendly staff, very clean. Rooms have AC. The property has a gorgeous pool and the property is well maintained. The wifi is sluggish, and rooms to not have a refrigerator to keep items cool, however the kitchen bar staff had offered to put a few items in their fridge, however- you need to go there and ask them to hand it to you. It's not a self-serve fridge.

Excelente. Quarto confortável e limpo, chuveiro quente, funcionários solícitos. Wifi funcionando bem e café da manhã bom. Área comum muito bonita, piscina limpa. Propriedade oferece aluguel de bicicleta, gostamos muito do passeio.

Close to sossusvlei.

We hadn't originally intended staying in Solitaire, but rescheduling issues meant we slotted this lodge in at the last minute. I hadn't been optimistic about what we'd find - after all, Solitaire is a small, very remote place. But I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the rooms comfortable, a good size and in excellent condition; the restaurant area is terrific and the food very good; the surroundings are quite charming, with a scattered collection of old cars. Highly recommended if you need a stopover before or after visiting Sossusvlei.

Gute Erfahrung, sehr gutes Abendessen und Frühstück! Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich. Gute Lage, es gibt eine Tankstelle vor Ort und ist nicht all zu weit von Sossusvlei.

The Lodge is beautiful with fabulous gardens, wonderful views and attractive spacious bedrooms. The Cafe is also the reception and again is a lovely building which served good value and tasty food. The breakfast was very good and the rooms have their own tea/coffee facilities. Our registration on arrival was not comfortable as they did not have our payment through Expedia recorded and we had to provide email receipts as evidence of payment which they questioned extensively. The service at dinner was very slow and although this was paid immediately after, we were questioned at check out regarding our ‘outstanding bill’. Service was not with a smile during our stay and we were not made to feel welcome. However the Lodge is well worth a visit as it has been designed very well, the sunset view was wonderful and the apple pie is very good!
