Gorgeous and spacious room. Great location. Our room was on the bottom floor and the street noise was a bit loud though.

Verblijf was perfect, keurige kamer. Vriendelijk personeel. Goed ontbijt. Alles netjes en schoon.

Great sized room and excellent facilities. Really friendly, helpful staff and the basement suite is absolutely fabulous.

Staff lovely, hotel was decorated for christmas very tastefully. Room was old and great, creaky floorboards.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Amazing staffs! Everyone was helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We were able to leave our luggages before check-in time. The location is very convenient, close to the Christmas markets and town. Steep stairs but we expected that from reading previous comments so not a surprise and wasn’t an issue to us. Overall extremely satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend!

Amazing room. Huge and beautiful!

The room itself was spacious. However, it was very drafty and cold despite the heat being on full blast. In addition, the street noise, church bells, and construction outside were full blast making sleeping a challenge. We could hear the room beneath us until 1.45 AM. It was a rough couple nights for sleep.

Quirky rooms

Lovely location, beautiful old building, great staff. Just a bit noisy at night. But they give you ear plugs!

Tolle historische Unterkunft mit viel Charme mitten in Utrecht. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer und haben in dem großen, bequemen Bett herrlich geschlafen. Bei einem Stromausfall in unserem Zimmer wurde schnell und sehr kulant reagiert. Vielen Dank an das Hotelteam. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The staff was very accommodating in holding on to our luggage. The building is old, but in a cool way.

Such a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Our family suite in the attic was so unique and we loved it…until we went to bed. The bells in the Dom tower play every 15 minutes all night long and it’s incredibly loud in this room as you are at the top. We were seriously considering leaving the hotel at 2am. Luckily we only had one night booked but the next day we were exhausted and it ruined our last day. I cannot understand why people don’t mention it in reviews and the hotel doesn’t warn when you book this room. Worse nights sleep in a hotel I’ve ever had!

Unfortunately a vintage plate I bought for my husband went missing from our room. I was disappointed by the lack of apology and serious concern when I reported this. They did offer a discount by not charging the hotel tax and water and biscuits we had from the mini bar. Which while appreciated was not as good as if they had shown serious interest in tracking the plate down immediately. They were unable to contact the housekeeping team immediately as they have different teams. I don't think I would stay there again as the safety of my belongings cannot be guaranteed. The room itself was a fantastic family room with seperate areas and an amazing view. The bells through the night disturb even the deepest sleeper and earplugs are uncomfortable. It was not just on the hour but sometimes quarter to and quarter past. Next time we would proabaly stay a little outnto avoid this. We did not have breakfast. The reception is only manned at very limited times during the day and there is no common areas apart from outside the room in the corridor. A beautiful hotel with lovely antique touches and I loved the history but sadly disappointing service..

Everything was perfect!

By far our favourite hotel during our 10 day trip. Easy walk to shops and canals. Very unique room- top floor with a view of the Dom tower. They provided us with ear plugs because of the bells but it didn’t bother us. Room was very comfortable and cozy. Family of 4 had plenty of room. Wished we stayed here longer than 2 nights. The only downside for some would be the multiple sets of steep stairs. It was a workout to get luggage up and down the stairs.
