レストランの上でうるさいかと思ったのですがそうでもなく、部屋も綺麗でした。 ただ階段は急で狭いので大きなスーツケースの場合には不向きです。 主要駅までも歩いていけます。 チェックインはお店でします。

建物は古くエレベーターなしの4階、 階段は幅も奥行きも狭く傾いている その状態で荷物の上げ下ろしは自分でしなければならない レストラン併設で専任従業員がいない 薄い毛布一枚、備品類全てが粗悪 ガラス一枚で路面電車が通り、早朝から深夜まで騒音が止まない この実態に対し宿泊費が許容範囲を超えて高い

今までの中で、一番お値段に合わないホテルだと思う。結局一泊２万近く払ってEVはともかく、タオルもバスタオルだけだし冷蔵庫も無いし、ハッキリ言って損した感じでした。エクスペディアでは、何回も行ってますが初めてハズレです。

カフェの２階以上がホテルになっているので、レセプションがカフェの中にあるのでいちいちカフェに入って行くのがちょっと抵抗ありましたが、部屋はとてもキレイで快適。4階だったので階段が急で大変でしたが、２日目からは慣れました。週末のカフェの賑わいが少しうるさいので耳栓は必須。朝食の時間が遅すぎるので一回しか食べられなかったのが残念です。

セントラルステーションから徒歩で約10分、ホテルからレストラン、スーパーマーケットも近くにあり便利なホテルですが、値段にあった部屋の広さはなく思ってたよりも狭かったのは凄い残念でした。 サービスは特に問題なかったです。

Close to all,clean and tidy

Great location, close to Dam square. Walking distance to most attractions. Trams nearby.. Great twin room. Large wet room bathroom. Above a bar/restaurant. Would stay again.

Stayed here for a few days with my mum. The room was nice and made up as the requested twins but due to the shape of the room there was no way around the bed expect to step over the bed it’s or crawl over which isn’t great for my 82yr old mum. I had to split the beds up and rearrange them. The bedside tables are cheap and wonky so had to tighten up the bolts. The wardrobe door handle kept hitting the bathroom switch and the other door wouldn’t open due to the ceiling beam. Daily the bins were emptied and fresh towels left. The location itself was great for getting about although our room was at the front so heard a lot of the road noise.

The location of the hotel was excellent. The hotel was great for 2 nights stay. Nothing to complain about.

The Corner House Hotel is certainly right in the middle of the action in Amsterdam and is well situated near the railway station, canals, tram lines and shops and restaurants. Having the restaurant and bar on site is also a plus. The rooms and common areas are very clean. The staff is great too and meals in the restaurant are very good. However, be aware that this very much a budget hotel with no lifts, no room decor and minimal room amenities. It is better suited to spry students, who don’t mind stairs or for those on a strict budget. There is no air conditioning in the rooms as in many European countries. However, that being said, we did enjoy our stay here although it got a bit noisy at night as the area around it is very popular and is home to many bars and restaurants.

Really nice accommodation very central to the old city. Rooms are quite small but clean and tidy and all that's required for a city break. The food in the bar is excellent as well and the staff are friendly

Excellent hotel if you want to be at the heart of the city.

5 nights in room 3 (Earth). There is no 24/7 reception as advertised. In fact, there is no reception. There is a desk and computer in a corner of the cafe/restaurant. For any help you need to find a member of the serving staff. The staff themselves were friendly enough, but this didn't make up for the room/'hotel'. The room was basic. The toilet seat was loose and the toilet would run (noisy). The shower head was poor with water leaking from the frame of it rather than the nozzles. We were also without hot water for a fully night and day, and only when we complained in the morning were we told that it should have been sorted the evening before. It wasn't, but was sorted by the following evening. The bed was old and creaky and the walls thin. When any other guest closed a room door, the wall shook with it. (Also beware; steep stairs aren't for everyone) The room was cleaned every day. The room cleaning started at 0800 and the vacuuming of the nearby rooms ruins an opportunity for a holiday lie-in. In all great location next to Dam Square, but really poor for the price paid. My recommendation, find somewhere else even if it costs a little more.

Great location, comfortable beds, easy check in!

Wir waren zu zweit eine Nacht hier und es war super. Schön sauber und sehr gemütlich. Das einzig negative war der Wasserstrahl der Dusche im Zimmer. Würde wieder kommen.

Excellent location and value for money for our short stay as a family of four. The quad room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We ate in the cafe downstairs and our meal was lovely and reasonably priced, the staff were welcoming. No issues apart from the very steep staircases, which can’t be helped in the traditional style buildings and some noise from the trams and traffic, but we were aware this was a central and lively area and it was worth a bit of noise to be so convenient and able to walk to the train station in 10 minutes.
