ホテルレーマー

庭付きでしたが手入れされておらずガーデンチェアも水が溜まっており座れる状況ではなかったのが残念です。それ以外は概ね満足しました。

アムステルダム中心地はどこもホテルが高く、そんな中見つけたのがこのホテルでした。トラムを使えば中央駅までもさほど遠くなく、ゴッホ美術館なども近くにあり利便性は良いと思います。 3月中旬に泊まりましたがまだアムステルダムは寒く、お風呂場に床暖房があったのでとても快適に暖かく過ごせました！ 私たちは別館の方に泊まったのですが、本館、別館いずれも、そして特に別館の方はエントランスにかなり急な階段があり、大きなスーツケースの上げ下げはけっこう大変でした。雨の日も足元が滑りそうで少し怖かったです。 あとは朝食は本館のロビーで頂きますが、省スペースのためかパンがとても高い棚に置いてあり背の低い人はパンを取るのが難しいと思います。 それ以外はとても快適でした。

Becasue of the water flood from the upper room, we had to move to the other hotel by taxi. The hotel employee are not well trained such contingency. They didn't make any apologies and detail explanations, we were forced to move to the other lower grade hotel of their group.

静かでよい。浴槽が日本よりも深い。 スーパーも近くて便利。 美術館もトラムもレストランも歩いてすぐ。 治安も問題ない。7泊したが特にストレスなし。 ただ廊下の話し声がかなり聞こえる。周りの部屋の音が響く。 シャワーが水浸しになる設計。 これはこのシャワーユニットを売り出した会社に責任あり。 どんなにうまく使っても水浸し。

We got at Hotel Roemer exhausted from a long trip only to find that the rooms were overbooked. We even had emailed beforehand to confirm our reservation and to notify them that our arrival will be late at night, and they responded to us that it was no problem. But there definitely was a big problem! We were relocated to their sister hotel, which they suggested us to stay for all of the 3 nights we had booked. Because one of the main reasons we chose Roemer was their location, we decided to come back the next day. Then I found that my friend in Amsterdam had left some gift for me at the hotel reception, but they never mentioned about it at the time of check-in. The reception did give us the gift from my friend on the next day, but I doubt I would ever have received it if I continued to stay at their sister hotel. As a compensation the hotel offered us free breakfasts, and we accepted. However, at check-out, they tried to charge us for the breakfasts, and we had to explain them about this overbooking issue. I don't recommend Hotel Roemer. You can't trust their reservation system or reception staff.

Hotel was in the best location

We had an okay stay here until a vent fell off the ceiling and started to leak a bunch of water into our bathroom on the final night, right as we were trying to go to sleep. We told staff and unfortunately they couldn’t find us another room. All they offered us were towels to soak up the large amount of water on the toilet, floor and shelf below (didn’t clean it up themselves — just gave us towels for us to deal with the mess). Thankfully the water didn’t soak too much of our belongings but it meant we couldn’t use our bathroom the final night without the risk of it happening again. Management said they would follow up about compensating for the poor experience but we have still not heard anything from them and it’s been a full week. We were offered a free breakfast the morning after, which we couldn’t use because we were told about it as we were checking out and had to catch a train. We left our contact information at the front desk and submitted our feedback through the hotel survey and still haven’t heard anything from management about this inconvenience during the final night of our stay. Overall, we experienced quite horrible customer service. At least the location was decent. However the room was mediocre (even before the flooding) — they only provide each person with 1 pillow, the shower was a horrible design that soaked the entire bathroom floor and the place was freezing and hard to get a good temperature with the A/C. We definitely wouldn't stay there again.

J’ai payé pour une junior suite et on nous a mis dans une chambre inférieure sans climatisation (il a fait 28 degrés). On m’a dit que « la politique du management est que les groupes sont prioritaires. La suite a été donnée à quelqu’un d’autre ». J’ai eu beau leur montrer la réservation et leur dire que j’avais un statut VIP ils nous ont laissés dans la mauvaise chambre. J’avais pris la junior suite pour faire plaisir à ma femme. Nous sommes vraiment déçus… J’ajoute que la saleté de la salle de restaurant est déplorable (si vous voulez des photos j’en ai) Pour résumer : je voyage beaucoup et cet hôtel fait partie du pire que j’ai expérimenté.

Everything was in order here. Started in a room I hadnt ordered through some small confusion but they movied me to the correct room without any problem the very next evening. Desk staff were friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable. Bathrooms stunning. Quaint backyard to enjoy the afternoon. Very close to Museums, Vondelpark, and the Leidesplein. I'd definitely come back.

Really great location, nice spacious rooms and a very comfortable bed. Perfect base to explore Amsterdam!

My room was in the building in front at the reception, like explained in the reservation. The room was big enough and clean enough (maybe it'd good to clean the ceilings too from time to time 😉). Despite being on the - 1 floor, the room was very quiet and I had a very good sleep. Bed and pillows were good, too. The staff was nice and polite.

Nice hotel good location near trams,bars ,restaurants

We've stayed here when it first opened and returned about 10 years later and whilst it is still a lovely place in a super area, there are some obvious signs of wear from the past decade. We have been on the Lower ground floor and the top floor and both beds were super comfortable. The room was a bit cool when we arrived (19degrees) so a touch on the fresher side but likely down to the very high ceiling in the attic. There was oodle of scorcho hot water for a long shower or soak and the breakfast was simple but varied and tasty. Would very happily stay again and the area is lovely and quiet but not too far off the beaten path in an upmarket neighbourhood.

Stayed at junior suit and it was okay. First I would like to thank the hotel stuff who helped a lot. About the room: bed is very comfy and really king size :) Bath tube and overall bathroom is cool and high quality, location is super good. the cons are: you wake up with breakfast smell in your room and the room never gets too hot but not cold also. Worth it

Hotel Roemer is an amazing hotel and I always use it when I'm in Amsterdam the staff are friendly and helpful along with the location of the hotel being perfect for exploring.

God beliggenhet på hotellet med kort vei til offentlig transport og gåavstand til flere severdigheter. Frokost ok. Var buffet, men også en liten meny der man kunne bestille f.eks omelett. Det var dog ingen å bestille hos. Reiste med to barn. Stort familierom med 2 doble senger. Greit renhold. Dessverre oppdaget barna fire musefeller og noe av medbrakt mat var tydelig spist på av dyr. Svært ubehagelig opplevelse. Finner ingen informasjon om dette noe sted. Hadde ikke valgt et hotell med farlige gjenstander på rommet når vi reiser med små barn.
