Chambre trop petite et trop sommaire Pas de luminosité et qui donnait sur une toiture! Coussins et matelas pas confortable Compte tenu du prix, je m attendais à mieux. J ai séjourné au même prix deux jours avant dans un 5 étoiles ( pillows) avec petit déjeuner..

The room was cold and could not be increased. We have filtered the search with Breakfast included but it was not. Breakfast is available so it’s misleading. It also says parking in the area for 35€ but that parking is outside of Amsterdam and we need to take a train into town. Also misleading. Otherwise it was okay, clean and pretty quiet.

Great hotel in the perfect location walkable from most of the main areas, hotel was lovely inside and out great views of canal and decorated lovely for Christmas, staff where helpful and I would definitely stay again.

staff was friendly enough but we were put on 5th floor with a winding narrow stairs! We are near 80 and my husband has balance issues and uses a cane. We used Hotel.com for booking that shows no stairs for my husband. Apparently we couldnot be moved because of Holel.com. This is second time and more serious with Holel.com.Plus my cousin booked not using Hotel.com got a better room, no stairs and better price. I will not use Hotel.com again and risk my husband's safety!

We only stayed one night and had a large, very spacious room on the top floor room overlooking the canal. Breathtaking views and the room was very comfortable. One bath towel was ratty, there was dust on the end table, the water jugs were dirty and the fridge not very cold. But we could easily over look the deficiencies as the view and spaciousness was amazing!

Lovely front desk staff. Big caution if stairs are a problem or have large luggage. We were assigned room on 5th floor, elevator only goes to 4th. Narrow, spiral stairs to 5th floor. They don’t help you with luggage. They reassigned us a room on 4th floor but still had several sets of small stairs to get to room. Believe it or not, we also had 3 steps in the room up to the bed. Great room but if stairs are a problem, beware.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were rude and unhelpful. They didn’t even bother to assist us with our luggage. The room itself was filthy, with stains everywhere — completely unacceptable. Throughout our stay, their attitude remained unpleasant. At checkout, there was no communication at all — no greeting, no “goodbye,” nothing. It felt like they simply didn’t care. This was an awful experience from start to finish, and we cannot recommend this place.

Très bonne situation au bord d’un canal dans une rue calme et à 15 minutes à pied de la gare principale. Bonne situation pour visiter les principaux musées (tout à fait atteignable à pieds). Personnel très aimable et arrangeant. Possibilité de laisser les bagages si la chambre n’est pas prête et après la remise de la chambre (et cela indépendamment de la durée). Chambre très agréable, lits confortables. Nous avons logé dans la chambre avec mezzanine donnant sur le canal et c’était très calme.

Great great location! Cute place. Staff is very nice . The best boat cruise departs across the canal. Towels are lackluster, but overall the room was very nice. Definitely recommend

Lovely location

The hotel is in a convenient location and most things are walkable. However, upon arrival we were assigned a room on the 5th floor. The elevator only goes up to the 4th floor with a narrow winding staircase allows one to access rooms on the 5th floor. Upon discovering this I requested a room on a lower floor. They were finally able to give us a room on the 4th floor but there were stirs on that floor a well. I would not recommend this hotel is stairs are a problem. The breakfast that was available was 1 step above a continental breakfast and we were charged for it.

Excellent location . Well kept. Great customer service . Cute little rooms. Beautifully renovated . Would definitely recommend ! Just around the corner from Loren’s bakery, Bagel & Beans and close to the 9 streets .

Property was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for enjoying Amsterdam on foot.

The location was wonderful.!!! It was a converted apartment building. The room was adequate. Upon arrival, Glenn, the only person at the front desk did not seem to be very welcoming. The towels in the room had holes in them. The place was clean but a little run down. I requested some ice, as there were no ice machines anywhere, and was told by the same person the ice was "limited," and was not given any. The next morning, I asked if they had a freezer. They in fact, they had an ice maker. I was very turned off at that point. I asked Glenn to fill a request, he said he couldn't, I explained how it could be orchestrated, he then shouted at me "Don't tell me how to do my job." Quite honestly, except for one very nice girl who was accommodating, no one seemed to go out of their way to be " guest friendly." If you are looking for a clean place to sleep with relatively little else, this place is fine.

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights. Staff are friendly and helpful with questions. Our small room is in a sort of basement which is ok. However I don’t believe the room was ever cleaned. They just turn down the beds. The shower and sink specially were never cleaned during our stay. Location is 15-min walk from central station which is fine as long as you’re not totting luggage as it’s hard to pull them on cobblestones. The tram is 8 min ride from central station plus 7 min walk to hotel.

Elegant hotel, nice room with comfy bed and ensuite bathroom. Has kettle and tea/coffee in the room. But you need the room key for the electricity so things won’t charge or be powered if you don’t have a key in the slot when you’re out. Quiet, understated. There is also a lift if you have heavy luggage.
