Clean and pleasant room with an awesome view!!! Position was prime and host was friendly and polite.

Excellent. Very convenient. Room was spacious and well-equipped. Staff was very nice. We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through the room at all hours of the day. Absolutely phenomenal!

Convenient location, comfortable room, helpful and friendly staff. A good place to stay in Paihia. Walking distance to Waitangi Treaty Grounds and to the city pier with ferries to Russell.

Wonderful stay and great quiet spot at Paihia next to the beach and a few mins walk to the town centre. Bed was very comfortable and service was ace with Jimmy dropping off our luggage to the bus stop as our shuttle to Auckland was in th afternoon. Functional laundry room which was convenient with fish and chips, petrol stop and superrettenext door. Thank you Jimmy and hope to be ack again soon!

Quick and easy check in for our three night stay. Our room was downstairs with a sea view but we had a lot of road noise as we were the closest to the road. The room was spacious and had everything we needed although will be better once refurbished which I understand is a work in progress. The bathroom is a little small and the fan which comes on when the light is turned on is very noisy. Having said that we were comfortable and the motel is close to a cafe, local store and petrol station with a supermarket a few minutes drive around the corner. It is walkable to the main shops and restaurants.

We based ourselves here for 6 nights with our UK whanau, their 1sr trip to the winterless North. The owner, Jimmy, was wonderful, very helpful and accomodating, upgraded us to the front rooms where we had a beautiful view of Te Ti Bay. There is so much to see and do around Paihia. we couldnt do it all, however we gave it a good go. Nearby are restaurants, Petrol station, cafe within 2 minutes walking and Woolworths supermarket 10 minutes - Waitangi Meeting Grounds, 20 minutes, Ferry to Russell or boat to the Hole in the Rock 10 minutes, plus a kids playgroung across the road - the Bay Sands Seafront Studios are a perfect launching pad for exploring Paihia and surrounds.

Very helpful, we were attending the jazz and blues festival and were allowed to leave our car at the motel long after check out.

Really nice motel in a great location in Paihia. Across the road from a lovely beach and a short walk to everything in town. I had a fairly basic double room, but everything clean and tidy. Very comfortable and I will certainly stay again.

A great stay with a welcoming and honest host. Directly opposite the beach it was so convenient and clean - I’d stay again.

The staff were amazing, the room was well laid out, and it was a great location for getting around.
