宿泊は普通です。ジャケットをクローゼットに忘れたのをチェックアウトのその日の夕方に連絡したらOK調べ取って置くとの返事でした。2日後に取りに行くと連絡して行ったが、その時にクローゼットを探し始め、ルームマーキングの人にコンタクトをする始末でした。出て来たら送りますとの事で、25日経っても連絡なし。対応したのはバーカウンターのお兄ちゃんでマネージャーらしき人は一度も顔を出さない。何かあった時の対応がゼロです。ニュージーランドの思い出が半減した。

The staff were friendly. Location is great.

We love the Salty Dog but it is definitely looking a bit like run down and in need of an upgrade. The sheets looked quite old and grubby!

Not a bad motel but very dated and tired. Whoever thought that smooth glassed tiles on the bathroom floor was a good idea had rocks in their head, once wet they are an ice rink. The experience was let down by the poor house keeping with most of the cutlery missing, one wine glass and one sherry glass both dirty and antes on the bench.

Quite weekend away from the city

Arrived at check inn, gave my name and was given a key, showed a picture of the accommodation block show my unit and that was it.

Perfect for our requirements The beds were excellent.

Reasonably priced

Whilst the units were in a quiet garden setting, the unit we stayed in was not good. We had 3 adults sleeping in one room, including a shabby, tiny kitchenette. To watch TV we had to sit on the beds. After sleeping the night the walls, etc were covered in condensation - no fan or heatpump to use. The bathroom had a wetfloor shower which caused the whole room to be drenched in water everywhere. There were no towel rails, no fan or ventilation apart from a tiny window. No shelves or working area. It wasn't nice. Overall we were totally disappointed in our stay. The only plus was it was clean.

This was a good place to stay! Spacious and comfortable. Just getting a bit dated with poor lighting and a lack of power points. Otherwise very good.

Have been before - look it isn't 5 star but it was decent and great location-wise. Wow, did it go down in quality - so much so I will never go back. Walked into room - the smell was horrible, a damp smell near bathroom (maybe due to lack of any barrier from open shower to the carpet in hallway), and a strong smell of urine. Found it from a pillow on the bed which seeped through layers of bedding, as well as in the living room near couch. It was so noticeable there is no way someone cleaning would not have realized. Also, must be a wasp nest close cause wasp after wasp flew in. Wifi weak but manageable, overall state very 'sticky' - tables, kitchen - just overall grubby. Staff came to give another blanket when asked but also had to ask for more towels as they gave 4 when there was 5 of us. Was really happy to leave, which is an unfortunate thing to say about a short holiday at a place which was much better only a few years ago.

A poor experience. Good sized unit but with a very small bathroom in need of maintenance and upgrade - shower curtain arrangement. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean but food crumbs on bench and hairs in the hand basin not a good look! Overall very tired!!

It’s in a good spot

Cleanliness & staff service were good, bed was comfortable, shower was great. However, don’t drink the tap water, it’s genuinely foul. Use bottled water instead. Even boiling the water didn’t help.

Great reasonably priced hotel with good pub food on site
