I booked and paid for this hotel before arrival. At check in, I was told my card wasn't working so I would need to pay another sum to check in. I showed the staff my credit card statement with the payment, after which they claimed I had only paid for half of the amount. I paid because I needed the room, but hotels.com refunded me later. Unfortunately, this felt like a scam, but I don't blame the staff for it, it seems like they were told to do this by the managers of the hotel. The room itself was ok for the (original) price I paid, and the hotel is close enough to the centre to walk everywhere.

The rooms had private bathrooms which usually would cost more at other hotels. Receptionist was really friendly and helpful. You can park your car in nearby car parks if you need. The walk was a little far from the center of the town but still ok. We could do the laundry there with the machines which was great. Maybe some curtains to block the light in the windows would be great, as well as less high pillows. The bathroom was generally clean but there were still some hairs in the shower.

Ten minute walk to central plaza. Not expensive at all.
